|need_love: Why I've bought in...current mkt cap is 0.31 million against all the below.
Cash at bank and in hand 901
Share price on the cash assets alone should be 1 pence.|
|8 ball: Can't wait..................
Anyone care to guess the share price after the results.
I am looking for 8p to break even, and 80p for the thread title to come true.|
|alanrex: OK - I think its fair to say the share price has fallen largely on the lack of news. I think we agree the possibility of the 'end' increases over time in the absence of news for a small 'growth' stock with loing term cash flow requirements. Likewise, stocks like this react more significantly to news compared to the larger companies given the relative importnace of news/wins and liquidity. Thus given the share price history and current share price, the downside is the investment in the company but the upside is more likely to be as high as a multiple. If you apply your own probability to each scenario and work out the numbers are positive and then you may consider the investment.. thats my thinking.
all imo dyor.|
|8 ball: The story here Charmer is that the share price reflects the cash value of the company.
The cash they have is been used up so the value falls.
What is the lowest price share currently listed?
0.6p can't be the lowest.
Gives us something to aim for on this thread?
Maybe we will have a share consolidation when they come to the market with a right's issue.|
|erogenous jones: FLOJO - If it is of any benefit, I have filtered clocktower many months ago. It has neither helped nor hindered the share price.
I shall be adding a fwe more this month once my divis from Germany (DPO) have arrived on my account. Might get me another 20,000 so don't get too excited!|
|erogenous jones: Start of the rollout of good news designed to lift the share price.|
|exotic: Why would you want to hold this if, even at a fraction of 1p, it's still the same company?
No matter how low you snap them up, a share price can always go lower until of course zero.|
|erogenous jones: exotic - I know!! It is silly. I have got to the point where I am about to filter clocktower. I have always appreciated and listened to those who take a different stance from myself. I have on many occasions changed from being optimistic on a companys prospect to becoming realistic to the actaul delivery of that potential.
However, ct drones on and on that the route to get rch is to continue to peddle the notion to dispose of the shares and benefit from fractions of a penny advance in the share price.
It is a bit sad really.|
|erogenous jones: Which indicates to me that the for sale sign was above the door.
Having spoken a few times to the FD, I had formed the impression that a recovery in the share price was of high concern; What of the "partnerships" forged back in 2003 or was it 2004 - nothing seems to have come from those? What of the increase in spending in the NHS - not much seems to have tricked down the line into SGY coffers?
I notice that volumes have virtually dried up. So no early birds buying in anticipation of fundamental data which should be out soon - results, coupled with some director buying and a steady flow of news will give confidence to the City. I wonder if a change of CEO might be appropriate.|
You seem to misunderstand investment. In an efficient market a share price represents all the FACTS available to the market +/- the markets expectation.
By taking a view ,long or short, on a share, you are infact guessing, informed by experience or not. Unless you have inside knowledge of the FACTS before they become market knowledge.
Assuming my obvious conclusions from the FACTS presented to me, the current share price will remain until expectations change.
I took a view ,some time ago that that expectations were too low on SRS and they were undervalued, it was correct. FACTS tell me so, retrospectivly and profitablty, or maybe I was lucky. There is nothing fun, clever or profitable about waiting for the FACTS and then saying "yes the share price now represents the FACTS available"
If you want my GUESS on what the share price will be 12 months from now, why should I tell you.
What I will tell you is they had cash at bank of 1.2Million 30/6/04. Given my estimated loss thats 12-18 months money without growth. With 50% year on year growth thats touch and go break even. With one of the deals announced coming good thats profit. Those are FACTS.
You GUESS and put your money where your mouth is. If you want to invest do so, if not please go short. If you want to sit on the fence, please be quiet.
For what it is worth I agree this company has the turnover of a family business but the board structure of Tesco's
