15/7/2015 11:10 | At the AGM they stated that they has been hanging onto the cash in order to fund acquisitions, as yet had yet to find one at the right price. | glaws2
15/7/2015 11:06 | I wonder whether the BoD could do something useful with the cash pile and make some wise investments. | bdroop
13/7/2015 15:11 | I did sell some a while back around 285 but happy to hold those that remain. | the big fella
13/7/2015 14:51 | TBF - Don't fall for it. Last time I did (c225p) + the share price put on 30% soon afterwards! | speedsgh

13/7/2015 13:45 | Great company and solid update with a few reservations which have generally been noted by others. The share price volatility has been good for trading over the last few months and I've bought and sold a couple of times and sold out again. I feel the share price is fully up with events for now and when the volatility lessens i'll consider taking a longer term holding but for now I'm out. When the dust settles I'd expect a pull back from here and a further entry opportunity. Woody | woodcutter
13/7/2015 09:40 | Speedsgh Yes there the negatives that you list, but with the exception of the SONA news, the rest have been previously flagged and therefore 'ought to be in the price'. | glaws2
13/7/2015 09:37 | There were a few negatives in the statement: > ongoing FX headwinds > production delays for new SONA mains powered range > softening order book for France > factory relocation Most of these factors should be relatively short term but some are not within the control of the company (FX, factory relocation) although they will naturally take mitigating action where possible (e.g. inventory build up). Don't get me wrong. This was a cracking update but, due to the company's refreshing honesty, there is probably enough in there to keep a break on the share price for now (happy to be proven wrong). And hopefully allow them to once again exceed expectations later in the year :o) Aimho | speedsgh
13/7/2015 08:51 | Harrogate & RCTurner - thanks - if they are going to hide nuggets like that in the Notes to Editors then I must learn to read them :) | glaws2
13/7/2015 08:32 | "Sales of home safety products to J Sainsbury plc, a leading UK retailer, under the brand of AngelEye are expected to commence in June 2015." | rcturner2
13/7/2015 08:28 | I am sure the AGM statement named Sainsburys as the retailer | harrogate
13/7/2015 08:20 | Excellent update - as Harrogate says the key going forward is how quickly the Germany sales can kick in to replace the inevitable slow down in French sales (though I note the French legislative date has been pushed back from March to Dec 2015 - this wan't mentioned at the AGM so I can only suppose this is recent and possibly reflects an ongoing demand in the market). The only negative issue seems to be the production problems with SONA - anyone got any further info on this ? The AGM statement also mentioned the rollout of the AngelEye brand to 600 stores of a leading supermarket (they weren't allowed to name them) commencing in June. My google searches hasn't identified the supermarket - anyone seen them ? | glaws2
13/7/2015 08:02 | RCT2 - those trades are showing on ISDX where a fair bit of the SPRP trading is still done. fantastic effort for them to cope with sales at this level even though it will now tail off to France. Key to progress from here will be € rate of course, and the speed of replacement of the French sales with Germany. Also interesting to see what the total dividend is going to be. | harrogate
13/7/2015 07:52 | I bought 2 x 3000 shares, not shown yet. | rcturner2

13/7/2015 07:21 | So it appears the ship has indeed been a tad leaky in the last week or so. Can't complain, although nice if you were in the know! | speedsgh

06/7/2015 15:14 | Who are they kidding? | the big fella
06/7/2015 13:31 | Selftrade have advised they received the dividend in the form of a cheque on Friday 3 July 2015 and my account will be credited when the cheque has cleared on Thursday 9 July 2015…… | whitestone |
