What really grates with me was that I heard somewhere that Valerie Deufetrelle (excuse the spelling) seemingly disposed of 1.2 million shares just before close on the last day of trading. It sounds like sour grapes on my part I know, but it really p....s me off. Just an opinion.

Well not the company 'cos we are dealing shares on a secondary market - not like a rights or share offer where cash goes to company.

So for those that made a profit they've had some, I guess the market makers will have had a bit too. As for the value of shares on day of suspension - well they have no value. Where does the money go when your car depreciates? Similar scenario I guess.

Cheers.

(just been here too after long time off)

And who is running the new popstars jobbie then??

My first visit for ages to this thread. Forgot about this one,
maybe it was my sub-conscious forcing me to forget.

What can I say?
There is so much anger out there over this one, but everyone is helpless and the ex-directors are laughing their socks off.
I suppose to do anything now would be futile, or as the old Liverpool saying has it: "like farting against thunder".

Money down the drain. Or is that into other people's pockets. The loot must have gone somewhere.

Anybody any idea where your cash goes when a company goes belly up?
After all, it is real money. It must go somewhere.

No room for optimism, I'm afraid. The fat lady has sung!

Had a letter last week from City Deal Services saying this:

"Further to recent information received from the administrator, it should be noted that at this stage it is already clear that there will be no return to shareholders."

Apart from the bits relating to my nominee holding, no further details were given but doesn't leave any room for hope, does it?

according to PWC, TAM are only one of several interested parties in buying up shares as they then can sell them off to other buyers hoping to pick up a quoted company listed on the FTSE without much of the hassle. Great idea, but not sure if it necessarily means a higher offer price for our shares. Mind you an advance of 0.1p can't be that hard if the broker has good reason to believe more may be looking for this quick fix.

Just been notified by my broker that the tender offer has been rejected and therefore withdrawn. It will be interesting to see if they offer more now if they realy want/need them for some reason.

I see they are doing a popstarz meets big brother series where the candidates have to live in a house together for a while.

This must be one of the greatest cons of all time, where the shareholders get nothing and the directors buy the co back for a song.
