Looking at SPD intra day graph reminds me of what my emotions are like watching England play football in major tournaments . Let's hope this one ends better :)

Let me put this way.If let's say you put a house up for sale and you wanted £300,000 for it and you had a buyer at that price but he then withdrew the offer would you then except the next offer £270,000 .So now imagine you're the seller of SPD . Just because the buying stops doesn't mean to say the next price is 270.It's only a thought gentlemen .

If the seller was bid 270 or 280 or even 290 he wouldn't take it. Both SPD and the seller are dealing at a level that pleases both of them. Remember the back back started when they were in the late 270's. As I've said before take a good look at the free float. They'll be no more stock left to sell.

In one of the buyback RNS it stated that shares would only be purchased sub 300. Effectively it means the share price will be supported at 300 and shouldn't go much lower for very long.

However, the fact that it hasn't risen much over 300 suggests there are more sellers out there. Or someone is making money out of the 1-2% price range difference.

I do wonder what will happen once the buyback is complete. Will the share price fallback towards 270? Without any good news I think it might. Although at 300 I think they are a very good buying opportunity.

All the buybacks have been at sub £3 makes you wonder if this has been manipulated.

Makes you wonder that without the buybacks where would the share price be now
Who knows

Some of these share buybacks are pretty massive, and theoretically are helpful to the value of our holdings. But in practice the effect has been negligible.

I think the papers are so one dimensional that people are starting to ignore the shock horror headlines .They know whatever MA does, the press have got it in for him.

We're holding up very well after all the exaggerated news in the past few days. I noticed yesterday one newspaper was pushing the £900,000 SPD would save through its warehouse in northern England and rubbishing MA,then in the very last line just happened to add,MA says there high st shops would lose massively due to the increased charges.
Headlines sell papers and make news casts, balanced truth doesn't matter.
