22/1/2015 16:13 | Courtesy of Robbie Burns AKA the Naked Trader today: I had a very nice run with Spire (SPI) and so lobbed a few out at 341.96. The shares went down due to a placing at 315 - shares often go down to a placing price and then go back up again so I gratefully bought them back at 314.4 and 314.7. | neilgbudd
20/1/2015 20:37 | It relates back to the announcements starting on the 14th of January when Cinven made it clear that they were to sell 10% of their holding at a discount. Nothing new exactly today just follow -up. imo | hazl
20/1/2015 17:16 | Can you be more specific rufio? Do you mean the last announcements? | hazl
20/1/2015 12:39 | Hey fairly new to trading, would be very grateful if someone can translate what the latest interest in shares news means? | rufio90210
19/1/2015 09:44 | Pull back offers a super opportunity imo and I have bought in on the back of it. My experience of placings is the price usually settles around the discounted price for a few days and then rises again to the pre placing price and beyond as the penny begins to drop that nothing abut the company has fundamentally changed. My reasons for buying were: - Good value on only 13 x PBT to MCAP for 20015 and 11.5 x 2016 - Heard excellent feedback from friends who have used Spire which is very reassuring - They are growing their business e.g. acquisitions - They will be paying a good dividend - A FTSE 250 company with plenty of room for growth - Nice gradual uplift in price with a good looking positive chart - Good outlook in recent trading update - Other floated health companies have had their sp's appreciate very well such as NMC, ANH - Oh and the Naked Trader has bought in heavily (around £50k's worth) - always a good sign! Regards | neilgbudd
17/1/2015 17:31 | Very interested in this and would produce some benefits/savings here by the looks of it if adopted. It is connected to a firm called Toumaz TMZ a firm that I also happen to have an interest in. imo DYOR | hazl
16/1/2015 15:20 | Ride it out - or cash in and buy back?? | c4rver
15/1/2015 22:25 | I think they are referring to 10%. imo from rns ' Cinven, through certain of its funds as defined below, announces that it intends to sell part of its shareholding in Spire Healthcare Group plc ("Spire"). The disposal will be through a placing of shares in Spire ("Placing Shares") to institutional investors (the "Offering"). The Offering is expected to comprise 40.1 million Spire ordinary shares equivalent to approximately 10.0% of Spire's ordinary share capital. The offer price will be determined by means of an accelerated bookbuild offering process which is to start immediately. ' | hazl
15/1/2015 17:32 | It says in statement Cinven completes PARTIAL sale , are they selling more tomorrow? | rufio90210
15/1/2015 13:55 | Thanks for that, will have a look. | tu00
15/1/2015 12:58 | Tuoo, yes, great entry point below 320, I sold at 369 at Xmas and am looking for a re entry but also need to keep powder dry for distressed oilers. Another stock you might like to take a look at is AMO, it's in a totally different sector though. | wilk1
15/1/2015 09:32 | As a novice and not having come across this before, is this a good entry point? | tu00
15/1/2015 09:05 | 'The Joint Global Co-ordinators on Spire's initial public offer have consented to the Offering and in doing so have agreed, with respect to any shares sold under the Offering only, to waive Cinven's lock-up restrictions which otherwise apply to such shares.' THEY AGREED typical. Having said that it shows they want them,in my view. imo | hazl
15/1/2015 08:57 | Seems one rule for us.....etc Oh well no point in my getting out now...business is good in my opinion. imo | hazl
15/1/2015 08:30 | Placed at 315p - a discount of 7.3% to yesterday's closing price. Same level as where market price was 4 weeks ago. | m.t.glass
14/1/2015 17:58 | Annoying when an RNS is after close. Lets hope the placing price is a good price at least. imo | hazl
