oh thanks lennonsalive!

been waiting for a thread here
yes just a few....it had gone up already a bit but decided I would risk an entry and see how it goes.
edit
note your comments but there's always a lot going on in the health arena and its the potential I'm looking at here.

I'm not invested here, I see Robbie (Naked Trader) has. Bit too much debt and the market cap seems expensive for me.

Any thoughts?

Spire Healthcare was formed from the sale of Bupa Hospitals to Cinven in 2007,followed by the purchase of Classic Hospitals and Thames Valley Hospital in 2008.

In 2008 Spire Healthcare won the Independent Healthcare Award for Best Healthcare Outcomes and followed this in 2009 with the Nursing Practice award for their approach to infection prevention and control. In 2010, Spire won the Nursing Practice award for the second year in succession, together with the award for Excellence in Risk Management. Spire won the Innovation Award in 2011, before going on to win the Medical Practice award in 2012.

Spire launched its Perform at St. George’s Park facility in September 2012

The company was the subject of an initial public offering in July 2014.

Can't be bothered to create a new thread and last time I did my charts were rubbish!

However, have got a few of these recently and am hoping the momentum continues.
Anybody else interested in Spire Health?

That link does not work. Might as well sell out now for 69.75 rather that wait until December for the cash - can put the money to work elsewhwhere ( unless you believe a higher bid will appear).

"It is expected that the Scheme Document will be posted on or around 11 October 2010 and that the Court Meeting and General Meeting will be held on or around 4 November 2010. Subject to the satisfaction or waiver of the relevant Conditions, the Scheme will become effective in December 2010."

EDIT bid/offer now at 70/70.25 so could get the full amount less dealing cost. Sold mine.

sounds like he will accept the 70p offer... i would think that a third offer will have already been discussed with the other share holders ( of size that is ) and a price agreed.. so its roll on Monday for a cheeky 10% uplift....

mrx i picked a few at 64.. and some at 63.25.. i also bought at 65 earlier.. i hope i have it correct other wise my profit from 52 will quickly disappear!!

but i think its worth the risk.. every day we get closer i expect this to tick up a bit.. and close about the 66.5 on Friday..

thats my guess anyway!

Because it's not a "for gone conclusion", share holders would have to vote on approval, surely !

Forgive me for my ignorance but if the offer is 70 and due diligence will be completed by next Monday? why not buy a few more at 65 for an easy profit?

can anyone confirm to me the state of play here... As i understand it there is du dilegence going on now until nxt monday and if everything is fine and meets their expectations then an official offer of 70p will be made... at the same time is it open for others to put a bid in? or are they in a period of protection.. even if an offer is made is it poss that another bid might come in from a different source? if they finish the checks sooner than Monday the offer might come in earlier??
