21/10/2015 21:52 | I'm very glad I attended tonight, Wolfgang and Richard Wright (the new FD) were there, feeling quite a bit more confident. I have a copy of the latest Finncap broker note (Sept 30th). Will do a write up and post something here tomorrow. | timbo003

16/10/2015 15:54 | We have one of our growth company seminars in London on Wednesday with Sphere Medical presenting, more details at... | sharesoc
15/10/2015 15:12 | This is the frustrating thing about this share and has always been. When buyers do appear there is never any corresponding rise in the share price ..only falls in the share price when sellers appear..... | del44
15/10/2015 08:11 | Herr Rencken has been at the helm for 18 months. He hasn't really delivered what he was recruited to achieve. There may be some hope that the new chairman can help re-focus where needed but I think the delays in commercialisation smack of inadequate market acceptance of the product value proposition and/or a lacklustre marketing and sales effort. | longshanks
14/10/2015 13:23 | Hadn't we all Dave!!! As someone who works in an ICU setting, I can only see this as been a winner...but when? Nearly a 50% fall from the very recent open offer.... | del44
14/10/2015 13:10 | Had such high hopes for this share :( | rapiddave
14/10/2015 09:34 | Jam tomorrow.... I am in the business of selling scientific instruments. I know there can be long lead times (we sell to labs, not hospitals so I appreciate there is a difference) but I don't believe its anywhere near the times suggested. What would concern me is the near zero level of sales and the high cost of doing this (500k). What has that money been spent on? For any new instrument we normally suggest the time to maximum sales is about 3 years. If they haven't sold any after the first 18 months then its not going to fly. I don't hold any here (other than through woodford) but I find it an interesting company and I hope it succeeds. | dr biotech
14/10/2015 07:49 | It has been a rather shocking collapse in the share price recently on no news.I have invested too much with open offers etc...over the last 4 years. I would rather start averaging up on a rising share price to be honest..... I need some substantial news on product news along side confirmed sales...just so I don't start selling....LOL. | del44
13/10/2015 23:23 | Cash in the bank is probably now around 8p/share, so the enterprise value of the company is now just 1.5p/share or around £2M. The shares are now undervalued which ever way you look at it given that the addressable market for Point of care blood analysis is around $900m and Proxima must have a reasonable chance of taking a sizable chunk of that market (estimate: $200m with a partner). Presumably there is at least one more distressed seller with a large shareholding out there, but with Wolfgang's talk at ShareSoc next Wednesday ( ) where I know for sure there will be at least one shareholder asking some probing questions, I'm getting an irresistible urge to average down (yet again!) | timbo003
06/10/2015 17:38 | Sorry state of affairs. One hopes it's just us PI's selling rather than anything that's not already known. | waterloo01
06/10/2015 17:33 | Just flow of trades. More sellers than buyers Nothing more than that. -------------------- Do you think? 500,000 shares sold just @ the close @ 10.12p Wish we could get the same price rise on buying as on selling CC!! | del44
06/10/2015 15:29 | Just flow of trades. More sellers than buyersNothing more than that. | cc2014
06/10/2015 15:09 | Well now ....this is a little concerning..... Have I missed some thing in the news about SPHR? Anybody? | del44
05/10/2015 19:08 | I assume Woodford has the inside track on Proxima4. Wolfgang said 4 months ago sales were mostly predicated on Proxima4 so nothing has changed. What I suspect is happening is that a result of the extensive trials of Proxima3, Sphere have had lots of feedback which is being now built into Proxima4. Given that Wolfgang said this all 4-5 months ago I suspect whatever this added feature is, is likely quite important but not so important it held up marketing Proxima3. I imagine the feedback to date is something like "if it could just do this we'd buy it". I speculate that it's something to do with connectivity to other hospital systems and how it raises alerts based on outputs | cc2014
05/10/2015 15:17 | Well done indeed!! We are playing some of the worse football in the EPL at the moment...:-( Again well done!!! | del44
05/10/2015 15:11 | Del44 that's a good and a key question. If he continues to buy, it would suggest that as far as he's concerned the story still holds, ie value/deal. He'll be better placed than most to know. CPFC 4th. lol. | waterloo01
05/10/2015 15:04 | Would like to know Woodford's thinking behind his investment here. I know everybody can make wrong decision but even he must be slightly baffled, having bought in @ 16p and still finds himself averaging down already.... | del44
05/10/2015 14:59 | Should have sold up when they diluted so heavily and Hall left. Lesson learnt? Long and slow way back if they are hoping to do it all via direct sales as just can't see them getting enough traction, fast enough within the conservative (small c) healthcare sector. Another deal? Seems unlikely as can't think who would want to add proxima to their systems, especially as it's CE only. Classic bottom draw share just in case they do pull something out the hat and probably priced about right. | waterloo01
05/10/2015 14:42 | So who has scarpered off of the offer this time? Another leg down for the sp!!! | del44 |
