The question of asset value remains unclear. 9p per share is the amount indicated in the interims, but what is the net (as opposed to gross asset) of the German residential property companies ? Until we know this I suspect 9-10p must be the ceiling for the share price

Indeed, I didn't know much about this co but seeing Jim Mellon is involved gives me great confidence.

Seems like a very interesting recovery play.

I picked up some this morning - just 50,000 but might have another bite at the cherry later.
I hope this bb gets more lively as I see SYG as an interesting recovery situation. I did extremely well on them some years ago when they moved from Wigmore into SYG and it was one of my first ten-baggers. But they are looking interesting again.
The stated asset value per share at the interims was 9p and since then they have acquired two companies with German residential property worth a gross 25 million euros. I have emailed the company asking more information about their net asset values
Jim Mellon is a highly successful investor and I imagine he will want to do something interesting with SYG.

Of course I did DP. Look at the chart. No resistance whatsoever. Look at the shares in circulation. A trade between 5k-10k moves the share price by 10% or so. Easy money to be made here...just requires buying volume.

I'm here to make money. If a chart or online limits give me an indication, company specifics have no bearing on my decision.

Beyond that, there isn't really massive resistance so this run could even get us to double digit share price ;)

SDIC RNS out on SDIC Internalisation of property management and acquisition of GOAL ( less construction subsidiary )

To be satisfied in the main by transfer of property assets.

Should be able to get results out now and release own RNS on above.

The German economy is set to boom (relatively). For a manufacturing, exporting non-consuming economy the Euro problems almost guarantee it (assuming Euro stays weak). The German government will have to work hard to prevent it!!

I looked at these a couple of years ago and have been watching this BB intermittently over the years.....if any of you think that German property is a good bet at the moment, have a look at the present German government....
