I will save my glory post for when we UT at end of day* in the teens.

In short, the company has the ultimate view on dialogue with potential buyers (data rooms, potential bids etc). They reckon they can sell the company for billions this year.

...and yet they're scrabbling around in London looking for fresh PI's?

Sound's pretty much a done deal. I mean, TE10's been drilled, they're testing it, then depending on how much more Repsol, Shell and Total can stomach we may or may not drill TE11.

Got enough cash to do so, and "the share price doesn't matter" (JP's words) as a consequence.

The company will be marketed for sale in 2019 following the current drilling campaign. It is what it is, that's that, locked in (strategy and execution wise).



...so can somebody please tell me why the company deems it necessary to spend money (YOUR money) on platforms to market itself to potential new investors?

-when "the share price doesn't matter"?
-when the strategy is to market the whole company in a quarter or two anyway?

Clearly the attempt at momentum has failed.

Down at 11p we had the open investor letter and the SOU funded research notes. The share price initially reacted well with an increase of 200%.

More recently we've seen two estimate increase RNS's which were intended to deliver momentum, imo. However instead the price has given back over 50% of those gains.

As a consequence when TE10 dusts and we finally arrive at #quadrudust the unavoidable fall in price will, unfortunately, be from a lower base than perhaps 'intended'.

15p away from my 8p price target Vs. 977p away from JP's "four figure" target
-delivering me 6,500% more correct than JP and his bagholders

12p away from the recent low (at 11p) Vs. 90p away from the ATH
-delivering me 750% more correct than bagholding longs

...sing when you're winning, imo.

Lost money yes, because I was lied to by a hype crazed BOD, imo.

Nothing in the realm of SOU is going to get that money back. I can either selfishly walk away, or share my knowledge with others that might otherwise tread the same path.

For the good of the community I selflessly choose the latter.

Go genuine long and you invest in management -you buy into their truth by proxy. Personally I elevate BOD's above BB's.

JP has been clear, for months, that we're going to drill three wells (then market the company). He has repeated it on the international stage, in interviews, in presentations and in writing. Verbatim.

Still today you can read LSE rhetoric that SOU is going to sell on seismic alone in the coming days & weeks. There's now some waiting each morning for an offer/suspension RNS, here, now, in JUL18, yup, before rig(s) have even mobilised. After the $15m fund raise the penny dropped with a few "I guess we're drilling then".

..anyone posting 'on seismic' has either completely ignored the BOD (unlikely) or is maliciously positioning complete tripe; a legacy central to LSE rhetoric for the last 24 months imo.

How many skittles has LSE lined up for us to bowl over and laugh at? Sold on seismic will prove to be one of the latter ones imo which we will witness when the drill turns later this year.

Believe in your BOD -not a BB imo.

Huge (potential) upgrades. SOU says "big" goes from massive now to beast mode.

Repsol and Shell and Total have had the night to digest the news, and instructed their minions, dark pool trading outfits, high frequency trading firms and evil mm's and their banks of paid bashers accordingly.

Next morning? -14 trades for around £10k worth of shares.

I mean, come on people. You can literally see that the fantasy is nothing more than fantasy. Next to nobody is interested in these at 23p, yet there's gagillions of buyers investing in paid bashers and professional market advice to try and get the price down, right?

-a price that demonstrably nobody has interest in!

Guys -all these upgrades and massiveness and asset percentage increases, how come Repsol and Shell aren't sending the bid price into the stratosphere?

I mean, after all they apparently may have already access to a SOU data room, riiiight, and things are just looking better and better, amirite guys?

Plus they're both spending money on banks of paid bashers to try and pry shares from PI innocents, I mean, I dunno, neither of them even have a reportable holding yet?

I'm not sure it all adds up you know guys.

I admit I was tempted to buy some more this morning but will wait a couple of days to see if there's any trading plan action.
