"....provides support for the Company's field development plan consisting of a number of horizontal stimulated production wells spaced to optimise recovery."

Here we go again, Sounders. I'll start:

"I don't think the wells will be drilled. Repsol will step in and we'll be #soldonwelltest 2 weeks from now".

Copestake: correct here though your multi-handle (Levelup) got it wrong on LSE "Nice but of unexpected news." LSE doesn't have an edit feature either, imo.

25 March 2019Sound Energy plc("Sound Energy" or the "Company") Tendrara: Update on TE-7 Connected Gas Volume Sound Energy, the Moroccan focused upstream gas company, is pleased to provide a further update on the TE-7 well reservoir pressure, following the latest retrieval of the pressure gauge data. The measured pressure data provides further information on the extent and quality of the reservoir at TE-7 and provides additional confidence for the development plan of the Company's existing TE-5 Horst discovery, which remains subject to Final Investment Decision. The latest pressure measurements reveal a current reservoir pressure of 413.4 bara at the TE-7 well location with the pressure continuing to increase towards the original reservoir pressure of 422.6 bara confirmed by the Company on 19 July 2017. The period of pressure monitoring has been extended to observe this continued pressure increase and will continue. The pressure build-up trend is important information as it allows the Company to estimate the connected volume of in place gas ("GOIP") accessible by the TE-7 well. Analysis of the pressures measured in the well recorded over time has led to an increase in the Company's estimate of connected GOIP around TE-7 to a volume exceeding 115 Bscf. Historical analysis of the pressure trend, announced on 19 July 2017, had previously shown that the volume of connected GOIP around TE-7 exceeded 40 Bscf. The significant increase in the Company's estimates of minimum GOIP connected to the TE-7 well provides support for the Company's field development plan consisting of a number of horizontal stimulated production wells spaced to optimise recovery.

steelwatch: you do know really though, you can't not know, because it's been discussed more than once before since 2016 on this BB.The prospect of cash distributions sit in the same realm as Repsol buyouts at 1000p. Chimps like the idea of a forced increase in share price to show Mr. Market how terribly wrong everyone else is - and to do so overnight, so posting 'dem multibaggin' incredi-gains. It's all just fantasy imo.

I saw someone noted at the same time Coro had set up a new subsidiary for the reverse take over attempt of Ophir.

Note the principal activity is the extraction of hydrocarbons, rather than finding them.

Someone on the LSE board said something about selling Tendrara, or the TE-5 Horst development at least, and returning cash to shareholders whilst transferring the shareholders and remaining prospects into Sound New Co.

No idea how accurate that is or whether it is just one of a number of possibilities. I wasn't at the pub meet.

While we are waiting for news, can anyone shed any light on or express an opinion for the possible reasons behind the incorporation, on 21 Feb 2019, of a new private limited company, the details of which are given below.

Sound Energy New Co. Ltd No 11839292 ( a private limited company)

Secretary ;- AMBA Secretaries Ltd

Director :- James Parsons

Shareholding :- 1 Ordy share held in name of Sound Energy PLC

Principal Activity :- Extraction of crude petroleum
Extraction of natural gas

Could JP be considering taking Sound private perhaps?

Volume creeping up towards the end. We are likely to see an RNS Monday regarding JP exercising share options and selling some to make his holding 3.1 million.

..and it's right to speak in the past tense, kasspass. This got picked this up last night on the LSE PMO thread:

"...without being overly hyping in a sound energy kind of way!!"

Interesting to see the broader investment community using Sound as poster boy for AIM hype, tripe and AIM shenanigans. Reminds me of QPP a few years ago.

The Liquidity Event already happened here, that's what mug retail bagholding chimps still don't seem to get. It took place when Parsons sold his shares. He executed his exit strategy (at a far lower price than he'd hoped for, I bet) as planned. He never intended or needed to sell all of them, only enough to make it a worthwhile profit. Plus he can net the salary in too.

Now he's just going through the motions so that he can sleep at night and perhaps not have to worry as much about disgruntled PI's imo.

All imo.
