30/8/2016 11:47 | Nice quiet thread still :-) | panic investor
30/8/2016 10:00 | Certainly under accumulation. Again it will be interesting to see whether the buying increases when the US opens. | cfro
30/8/2016 08:41 | Seems to be making up for yesterday's Bank Holiday :)) | battlebus2
30/8/2016 08:20 | Bought a few back ths morning. | bamboo2
28/8/2016 17:55 | Yes, makes you think! SPE is still only a £22m market cap! | cfro
26/8/2016 20:10 | In 2007 it's rival Agile software was bought by oracle for £300 million and it has now incorporated it into Oracle suite! | stallone10
26/8/2016 18:28 | Good to see the price hold nicely well above 300p. Could be another strong opening come Tuesday. Interesting that the afternoons always bring in more buyers too which much have something to do with the American investors. | cfro
26/8/2016 16:29 | Came on board today. I Though I must have missed the boat but clearly not. | timp230
26/8/2016 15:35 | so...300p didnt put up much of a fight ! | smithie6
26/8/2016 14:29 | Panic Fair point....ADVFN automated programme is not always right at listing a trade as a buy or sell....especially when price is moving.. | smithie6
26/8/2016 13:38 | Looks like we'll get to the broker's target price much sooner than we thought. | modform
26/8/2016 11:21 | I never trust advfn's sells and buys to be honest. Easier to do dummy buys and sells to see what is achievable, earlier I tried to buy 2k worth and had to go to market ! | panic investor
26/8/2016 11:21 | To have 20% rise with results...and then close to 10% the next day rather than fall back..good indicator/sign imho | smithie6
26/8/2016 11:18 | ..amazing... ...(& for other common valuation methods for software cos with growth it is also still looking cheapish -- Sells look to be being soaked up....advfn thinks sell vol. higher than buys...so one guess is that there is a buyer(s)..imho as there has been in recent days | smithie6
26/8/2016 11:16 | I wonder if we will see another surge when the US wakes up? | cfro
26/8/2016 11:01 | spot on ran ridge, that's exactly what SharesMag said last week - forward PE of 9 | panic investor
26/8/2016 10:58 | Guys - finnCap forecasts FY16 eps = 26.7 & that looks conservative to me. . So based on yesterday's closing price of 280, that makes a forward PE of 10.5 only. This one has a lot more legs IMO. Don't base your decision by only looking at the rear mirror. | ramridge
26/8/2016 10:58 | Sp move for volume is a bit unhealthy phps.. 6000 shares bt over 4 buys and price up 20p to 300p... (Although it phps shows that hldrs dont want to sell; imho) | smithie6
26/8/2016 10:41 | ...Some sellers around 270p earlier today...but last trades at 299p ! So those sellers lost 10%. Directors made bucket loads in recent weeks/months. | smithie6
26/8/2016 10:41 | Well £3 and I'm smiling :))). Cheers bamboo, enjoy the holiday | battlebus2
26/8/2016 10:37 | Scrutable "There must be a retracement" Disagree...if ppl are correct with perceived low p/e etc then the mkt is bigger than a few PIs who might want to sell some and bag some profits... & if holders think its not a bubble price & phps more to come over time then fewer sellers Although I see your logic... | smithie6
26/8/2016 08:48 | Taken profit this morning, ahead of the long weekend. On hols at the mo and don't want this on my mind! Up around 40% with this trade, just a shame I lost confidence with my over-sized position last week! Cheers BB2 for helping me notice this great chart and congrats on your performance. Good luck all. | bamboo2
26/8/2016 08:40 | Yes i think you are right Scrutable. Yesterdays results were so strong that even after the massive rise the pe here could still be 9 or ten at the most. And that is not taking any further growth in the next FY into consideration either.. Hence the reason why i bought back in yesterday. | cfro
25/8/2016 22:20 | The most amazing aspect of these results seems to me that even after this week's 28% rise in the share price the cap value is only x5.4 times the annualised operating cash flow. That's very cheap. With so much sitting in PI's portfolios, there must be an imminent retracement from profit taking, but I would be would be astonished if the Sp didn't resume its steep climb thereafter until the cap reached x8 times op.cash flow. That would be 415p. Do others fault this logic? | scrutable
25/8/2016 19:50 | Thanks everyone, nice to get a winner. PJ doubt I'll be able to follow this one as stocks like SPE don't come around that often :)) | battlebus2 |
