Adam, I use the fibs as markers and measures in my charts. Otherwise, they have no significance. It just makes my life a bit easier.

The first measure [in black] from 111.5 to 193.5 [approx]is the max height of the flagpole. The calculation used to make the target is the flagpole height x 90%. The second measure [also in black] shows the ultimate target.

This total is added to the bottom of the flag to give the target.

I am seeing this chart pattern as Bulkowski's High and Tight Flag, although I have stretched some of his definitions.

Note also the triangle Apex indicating the price turn.

edit added, target is 90% height of flagpole, rather than flag.

I'm always likely to invest based on fundamentals but reading up the basics of charting has been on my to do list for a while...

Apex [vertical orange line] marked the price turn nicely for my top up on Friday. It is still uncanny to me how this works.
