We are presently oil in Egypt but here's a little article on gas:

You know the famous saying "wouldn't want to be out over the weekend".I think by tonight they would be in the first potential oil horizon. They will know..So will eni,bp,Dana and rwe. If they strike oil news will be leaked all around the world.Imho

Also, lets not forget Morocco, where we are making $8 profit per.cf and ramping production up significantly.

The cash flow generated from gas sales in egypt and morocco will be well suited to further exploration in S.Disouq or the acquistion of other distressed businesses with high margin assets. And it is this fuel and strategy for growth which is why I am invested heavily in the long-term.

I managed to buy 63,250 shares this morning at 63p across a few trades online. Seams ridiculous you can still buy share in this company at such a cheap level.

Are we currently selling gas in Egypt?.
If so what price do we get per Mmscf?.
If not does anyone have a read on what we are likely to sell our
gas at from SD (assuming SD is commercial)?.
I averaged up first thing on Tuesday, and this is now my largest holding.
Oil be deloired and excoited if we have further good news from this well!!

RapiddaveDon't forget the gas find, other structures have been derisked as a result of large discovery..Oil is bonus, which can take us to another level.75% concession hasn't been explored yet, fantastic opportunity for sdx.

If Oil is found the Company will likely get buy out offers from Majors like ENI / BP. South Disouq is a very large area with only a fraction of it being subject to 3D at this time. Paul Welch already has said that there are other areas ready to go for drilling if Oil is found. The SD-2 site is thought to have more Oil potential than SD-1

Those prices were not correct, you couldn't get a live quote to sell but could buy in size around 63.5p and now it's 63.1 to live buy and still no quote to sell. Don't know why they opened it like that as it looked like we were going up?

Not sure there is any intrigue. In the interview I posted earlier, PW said SDX was a great company before the latest find. It is now simply greater.

The find has taken a good chunk of risk out of South Disouq.

The Insti's have recognised that....
