I still think these buys are a coded message that something is coming... Wotk it out... If theres a takeover at say 60p, Stackhouse makes £1.5 million on his latest share options... But he only makes £57k on this share buy...so whats the point? And thats exactly the point. They are bound by MPNI for something coming down the pipe but the Nomad has oked these minuscule share buys as not being in a closed period...

Regarding the FD director buy last week. My theory. We need funding of some sort in the next couple of months. If it’s in the FD’s control it would be a sale of assets, royalty deal or a placing ( which has been dismissed by Scott) . Therefore the FD would know of all 3 above and quite rightfully be accused of insider dealing if any of them happened in the coming days /month. However if there is a hostile takeover in the background coming soon and the FD has an inkling it’s coming but nothing confirmed , then you can’t be accused of insider dealing from a hostile bid. I think a bids coming and soon.

And SOLG can't possibly 'go bust' with $50 BILLION of gold in the ground in Cascabel alone... To go bust you have to run out of cash... And that will never happen. So...answer again...do you still own stock? Because if you do you are mental to keep posting your doom and gloom...

Doubled our money twice in that time hazl...now running 1.8 million at 11p average... PFS3 this month then whoosh! Chinese met with the Ecuador Mining Ministry this week... Now ask yourself... Why would they spend a trifling $36 million buying 5% of the company if they didn't intend to bid...? Why would BHP and Newmont hold on, at a massive loss (the latter having reviewed their stake after the NCM takeover...)? Why are none of the institutional shareholders, nor the major Board and CGP players selling a single share...? Answers on a postcard... Difficult times...patience needed...

I am realistic. If 75% or whatever it was, of shareholders, don't usually vote, I don't expect it to be vastly different tomorrow, despite the RNS, or our best efforts. However, the AGM, I don't particularly see, as the defining moment for this company, or the share price. There are too many, other considerations,interested parties and individuals, as well as geopolitical and of course economic factors, and that's before even, the price of any of the metals at any given time. So whatever the outcome tomorrow, there are going to many more twists and turns, I dare say. If the share price can remain up, that in itself, would help flavour the price of any takeover bid I believe.

I am in it for everything it offers" If you think there is any reason to invest here other than a takeover, you have misunderstood the position SOLG are in. They put the sale sign up over 12 months ago and have eliminated all development activity. There is an outside chance they could agree a JV for exploration of one or more of their regional licenses but they have been trying to find partners for the past 3 years without success. SOLG are a binary play: takeover or bust.

I note you are in several gold stocks whereas I have only just had an interest again. That is apart from GGP which I have had for a while, both up and down, as a hopeful takeover play in recent times. What do you think about the gold sector,currently? I see you rode GDP up from 2020 but still post there. Or do you trade both up and down in these stocks ?
