27/10/2016 19:15 | Gkp 2p to 500p Rkh 12p to 500p Xel 1p to 500p There are other examples in all sectors so I'm being greedy and will stick out for 100p if it gets there | spacedust
27/10/2016 19:14 | I remember watching ngl go from 1p to 100p. And thought there will be pull backs at 10pm 20p 30p 50p 70p 80p etc. Ngl had no substance Solg could go continously up and up as it has been. Is it impossible to see 500p | spacedust
27/10/2016 15:42 | Sorry Off Topic. Switch to TERN for the next multi-bagger :-) | cool hand kev
27/10/2016 14:00 | Exactly. Hard to part with shares as there might be so much more upside. Unfortunately its all about greed. | mam fach
27/10/2016 13:58 | ODRoddrs, I'm not being negative, just realistic. I'm pleased the price is so far ahead, but accept that something that has moved so far so quickly is open to being gamed in the short term. The MM's have a clear view of the field, I do not, it's up to them to make a turn wherever they can, and late comers to a fast mover will likely be nervous and can thus be played with. It's not Solg specific. I still expect it to go sideways until fresh positive news appears, perhaps it will do so at this higher level? But I'm quite happy to see it continue to climb too. We might have much more high grade resource yet to reveal, this does seem a story very much nearer the beginning than the end. My ideal is a shallow high grade deposit that can be cheaply extracted and thus fund the rest of the Cascabel concession for a long mine life. If I was a big miner looking this one over, I would be looking for confirmation of that shallow resource before I pounced. In the meantime I'm holding tight, this looks like the real deal, and no longer a bunch of liars stood next to a hole in the ground :¬D | lefrene
27/10/2016 13:36 | Happens all the time. U just have to keep your own investment in focus and have your own clear entry/exit crieria sorted. | smoothtrader
27/10/2016 12:21 | They are trying to lower price to be able to buy. Think the speed of price rise has suprised investors. Exploration news has been amazing. Huge potential is coming to fruishion . Be brave & hold on. It's the real thing this time. | mam fach
27/10/2016 11:57 | lefrene ... a few weeks ago you said this would tread sideways around 21p until further news. Why the constant negative views of the share price and where it is going | onedayrodders
27/10/2016 09:09 | Yep, those pesky MM's want it all, they love to shake the tree and watch the weak fall by the wayside, hang on a few days and they'll be 23/24p and then its BUY time, be brave kids ;-) | jjstim
27/10/2016 08:55 | I doubt it chavitravi2, looks like we have the early shake to take out shorters, next comes the downward move to hit the longs, must be like taking sweets off children for the MM's. | lefrene
27/10/2016 08:32 | Is that the tree shake done for this week do we suppose? | chavitravi2
26/10/2016 21:47 | For the chartists I see there is a gap to be filled around the 24p level, so lets see if it happens! | lefrene
26/10/2016 12:57 | I liked this bit of a previous rns 10th oct 'Commenting on the BHP Proposal, Executive Director Nick Mather said: "We are very pleased to see BHP join a growing list of international mining companies that are interested in investing in SolGold; however, the current US$33 million financing with Maxit and Newcrest is the preferred option at this time as it leaves us in control of this very exciting project at Cascabel. There is considerable upside in the additional 13 targets as well as the existing and growing Alpala deposit. We have developed the exploration models and strategies to an advanced level, we are well funded and we are intent on delivering and retaining that upside substantially, for all SolGold shareholders." | hazl
26/10/2016 12:20 | The old conundrum, has the price got too far ahead of events? Or are the MM's going to shake a few out for their big buyers? Come back next week all will have been revealed :¬) | lefrene
26/10/2016 12:12 | best go short then. | brahmsnliszt
26/10/2016 11:53 | I'm sensing the same, think it could be time to lock in a bit of profit. What do you think it'll drop back to, that chart is saying 23/24p to me in the next few days unless an RNS comes out of course | jjstim
26/10/2016 11:44 | Looks like it may be struggling to hold 28p? It's got pull back written all over it to me. | alwaysevolving
26/10/2016 10:05 | Happy with Solg thanks. Rise continues today :)) | moormoney
26/10/2016 07:52 | yes great news at MARL ..... GLA | wisteria2
26/10/2016 07:09 | A game-changing RNS out today from MARL | gersemi
25/10/2016 18:51 | A little rise today will do just fine. Have been told that Hargreaves L are quoting 3 sales totalling over 0.5M shares All buys!!! come on guys someone surely must be building a stake here | billthebank
25/10/2016 16:37 | hazl, I'm not a great 'gold bug', but at some point all that quantitative easing has got to come home to roost, but no one knows what the reckoning is going to look like. Aside from that, copper is going to be with us as a major industrial essential for the foreseeable future. What I like about Cascabel is the sheer scale of it, once the infrastructure costs have been sunk then it looks likely Cascabel will be an earner for 50 years or more, hence I hope that more miners will show up wanting to own it. Although copper is currently quite low in price I understand that there are few resources of substantial scale ready to replace the copper held in storage. Once that metal held in storage begins to decline there is likely to be a rebound in the price. It's an industry with quite a long cycle, but at last it seems to be on the turn. | lefrene
25/10/2016 16:01 | Lefrene you people have been here longer than I, but I see that the US Consumer Confidence drop has been announced which has set Gold price off again. IMO | hazl
25/10/2016 15:43 | Got to be a fall back and consolidation, it can't keep going until more news comes in. There's still two years worth of exploring to be done, although I suppose that doesn't stop mining starting somewhere on the site while further test drilling goes on elsewhere. I'm in the 'wait and see' category as well hazl, those big hitter miners don't get involved unless they know for certain that there is something worth having. | lefrene |
