Bonanza,

Hardly likely, a short term test of NT-2 won't have used up very much of that placing. We're still getting an income stream off KN-1. They'll not need cash in the immediate future, not likely before the upgrade to resources at Ntorya. HH at 6.5% won't cost much to fund, NT-3 is likely to need cash or possibly 3D seismic, but that's not imminent either both likely months after resource upgrade. It'll take some time to plan seismic.

Regards,
Ed.

Do we still have that big pot of cash/loan facility which NR doesn't seem to want to touch but keeps on doing placings instead?

Ok, so we have diluted further and also spent cash, that means there are Zero funds in the kitty after last placing for NT2. What's this running on now ? And how are we funding N3, HH etc etc ???

Why do some characters to many name to mention on this. Bb come to the conclusion that , to acquire a position in company that sources helium is detrimental to solo oil. We are a investment company has NR as said on many occasions. We have already a producing asset in Tanzania N2 will be sold soon. You should at least look on the solo

Website for your research before investing . I have been in solo since 2010 and now I

Can see that the company is coming good so when my share price is met I will move on Gla lth.

Ed been here years too, I changed the name when I cancelled by sub here and changed over to using sharePad. Which I recommend highly.

Any rns with the word or hint of a placing in sends an share price red unless it's at a premium. I'm surprised this resisted for so long, easy to sell at the bell. You got to protect your capital on Aim even if the round trip ends up being a loss of some profit.

Dexter,

5p is quite a bit in the distance, but you could potentially double your money or perhaps more on the upcoming resource or gas in place estimates once the jvp conclude their tech analysis of the well results and drilling info. 5p will require either selling Ntorya after drilling NT-3 or selling 20% of the H1 assets a year or two down the line once they've booked a large lump of that helium into reserves. the company did exceed expectations on Ntorya and that's likely to be reflected in the upcoming release.

Regards,
Ed.

Warren,

I have no idea who you are, I've never come across you in the 13 odd years I've been a member here. The winnitfroth mob always like to make a big thing out of a small placing though and ADVFN is infiltrated with minions. ;)

Ed.

Solo Oil (LON:SOLO, 0.60p) – Speculative Buy

Solo has announced it is investing in private company Helium One, a helium project developer focused on the Rukwa project in Tanzania. Helium One also has several other helium projects in the area where gas seeps with very high helium concentrations have been recorded. Rukwa itself has unrisked prospective resources of 99 bcf, and considering helium sells for approximately $145/mcf, Rukwa has potential to be a very high value project. Also important is the favourable supply demand dynamics in the helium market. Demand grows at circa 3% per annum while the price has doubled over 10 years and the US strategic reserve, an important supplier of helium, plans to cease supplying the market from 2021. Solo investment consists of £1.2 million in cash and £1.35 million in shares for 10% with a 90 day option to buy a further 10% for £4m, half cash, half shares.

Our view: The helium market is a $6 billion market and growing steadily. Although we are unfamiliar with the helium market (main suppliers, consumers and global project pipeline) the fact that Rukwa looks to have very high concentrations of helium which is rare, suggest it could have significant advantages over helium gathered as a bi-product in hydrocarbon production. The improving supply demand dynamics and very high value of helium versus natural gas are also obvious attractions. Helium One's 2017 work programme will prepare the ground for drilling in 2018. Meanwhile we look forward to learning more about what appears to be a very exciting investment. We have a Speculative Buy recommendation on Solo.
