22/3/2017 09:08 | Out creeps one of the mob, billions, I doubt that very much, need to sell a lot of pizzas to make that sort of money. Regards, Ed. | edgein
22/3/2017 08:58 | Poor 'ole Winnifroth he gets blamed for everything on every bb. The amount of stock he must be shorting then bringing down is incredible he must be worth billions! | warrenfingerfood
22/3/2017 08:56 | Wh0, Well since its trading around 50 times the current Tanz gas market and the US will cease supply by 2021 I think we both know the answer to that. One source cannot supply the entire increasing global demand. Regards, Ed. | edgein
22/3/2017 08:55 | remember KOD, massive placing at 0.04p then topups all along 0.1p then 0.15p then 0.3p and next aligned at 0.39psame here, massive one (PRIVATE) at 0.18p, then 0.5p and today at 0.54p nd 0.57pSo any monkey thinking of 0.2xp 0.3xp 0.4xp is just jumping on wishful thinking.Listen to Passenger song, The Way It Goes"One man bought 'em, another man's sold 'emThat's just the way it goesYeah, one man's few is another man plentyOne complains, while the other says thanksOne man's full is another man's emptyThat's just the way it goesYeah we'll never know no matter how we tryWhy we're born and we grow and we live and we dieFor one man's start is another's goodbyeIt's just the way that it goes and I couldn't say whyIt's just the way that it goes and I couldn't say why" | paul the octopus
22/3/2017 08:53 | Barony, Exactly, SOLO is now getting very ripe for a predator to buy and strip off various world class assets that its developing. Ntorya and H1 now being the top $ projects at the moment. Especially when AEX release the upgraded gas in place numbers from NT-2. I'm expecting the results, considering the fact that they had to go overweight on the mud (high pressure) will show a significant % increase in the P50, P10 etc. Football, Yeah that's a common ploy used by the winnitfroth mob knowing that small companies have to place. But when the placing comes at market price and is for a world class asset its money well spent. It all puts more pressure on the cap if Ntorya wasn't enough with its gross multi billion dollar potential then perhaps H1 is with its net multi billion dollar potential. Regards, Ed. | edgein
22/3/2017 08:47 | "In 2013, Qatar started up the world's largest helium unit. 2014 was widely acknowledged to be a year of over-supply in the helium business, following years of renowned shortages." the question really is whether or not this stranded gas will be worth monetizing, when Qatar can produce it as a bi-product of natural gas | wh0sthedaddy
22/3/2017 08:41 | Thanks for the link Kwizza and thanks for the good sense Edgein. When a deal comes along, you either go for it with what you have, or risk losing it to someone who is quicker off the mark. At $150 for Helium v $3 for gas, this looks very exciting. Surely a US company, whose source is drying up, will want to buy this company out? | barony
22/3/2017 08:32 | Kev, Absolutely its about buying into areas that are early stage with massive upside like Ntorya, HH and now Helium One. Take the average price of $145mcf for this 98Bcf and its sky high prices, I'd assume that helium one has more expo to do, so those talking about development are not seeing the value here. Its likely to be like NT as you say, prove it up and sell it on at a substantial profit. Its a $14bn dollar asset once its at the development stage (that's if helium prices don't rise further, NR states they've doubled over the last 10 years). 20% of that is a world class asset for SOLO, even 10% is a game changer as we're capped at just £46m for HH, Arreton, Ntorya and now Helium One. Regards, Ed. | edgein
22/3/2017 08:30 | Must be positive if they're willing to take shares in Solo. They see Solo as a good investment. | whoppy
22/3/2017 08:24 | So far good resistance, let see when we will see 0.55 ,MM. Will bring do | tmmalik
22/3/2017 08:22 | Share price holding well - good news & well received. | guitars4stars
22/3/2017 08:18 | Edgein, whatever about the merits of investing in helium (and I'm sure there are many) I think this investment has more to do with (how shall I put it) 'advancing' the JV or sale of Solo's main Tanzanian assets. The helium factor is a bonus. | kevjones2
22/3/2017 08:12 | Info here from NR | kwizza
22/3/2017 08:11 | We are an investment company after all, let's not forget that | funkiemunkie
22/3/2017 08:07 | 20% would take them to a possible 19.6Bcf net, for anyone that doesn't know that's 19,600,000mcf a range over the past couple of years of $75-200/Mcf that's a heck of a lot of helium for just £6m. For 10% or less dilution it looks like money very well spent. Regards, Ed. | edgein
22/3/2017 08:06 | Wow this is seriously exciting! Ive been watching the Helium space for a while.....on cusp good work NR and team | presto77
22/3/2017 08:06 | In fairness, bonanza, we spoke about dilution in terms of advancing Ntorya, not a completely unexpected new investment. I think this RNS is good news as it indicates either a sale or JV of the big assets in Tanzania. Read between the lines and remember what country we're talking about!! | kevjones2
22/3/2017 08:04 | how does one process and transport helium? | wh0sthedaddy
22/3/2017 08:02 | Due to the distance between NT1 and NT2 I don't think they will be able to confirm high multi TCF, surely to do that they would need to drill further away? My reading of this investment by solo is they think the current share price is good enough to diversify it portfolio, I do not think we will be seeing recent highs any time soon. Unlucky DATA, your a long term holder now I think. | noramping
22/3/2017 08:01 | Very interesting deal, placing at the current price pretty much to get 10% of this large 98Bcf helium project with the ability to increase with a further £4m to a total of 20%. Helium is worth many many times Tanz gas. Looks like a low cost, high impact project $200/Mcf for helium vs $3/Mcf for gas. Regards, Ed. | edgein
22/3/2017 07:57 | I don't believe it, yet another Ritson gem, more dilution and cash diverted that is needed to bring on our current discovery and drill next well.... the guy is as I have always said a useless plonker who doesn't give a damn about PI's. Not good news in my view, he still needs to raise cash for NT3 so more dilution (at what price?) and the share price is just not going to carry it at the moment - unless he is about to announce a multi bag TCF reserves update...which I can't believe he is otherwise why not wait for share price to rocket before doing this deal! sadly Ritson has an appalling track record here and over at LGO for screwing PIs and making awful corporate decisions.... | simon8
