Ed, why be so defensive?
Solo has got nothing to do with SOU.

As others have said, if they expected results to be very good why not wait to raise the cash?
Surely the share price should rerate on positive news, but we have been diluted again and likely put a stop to any further very short term rises?

As I expected buys over take the sells, this is one placing you need not worry about we stand to make a fortune the volume is there and will continue into the coming days and weeks.

Only a 5% dilution. Without this we were heading for 0.7p. The market will soon forget about the placing.

The market will like what they see and the very fact a placing has been done stands the share price in good form.

Like I said shortly after a placing 2yrs ago in lgo they were very quickly a 20 bagger.

They didnt buy for nothing they want to make a profit and we are not so lucky to get that chance, having said that now is the time to buy at a very cheap price.

Why are you posting here, you apparently switched to AEX? :) I can say it for a third time if you wish. SOLO, as all oil companies do, have to fund drilling costs ahead of schedule. They've now enabled themselves to do so. Go back to AEX and relax and wait for the results of NT-2 and drilling of NT-3. I'm not nearly as worried about this placing as you are and you don't even hold shares here. Some might even question your motives. But you and Ross are very transparent.

Knock across effect on AEX is impressive this morning, Looks like the spend on NT2 etc. seen more positively over there.
4-90 - 4.95 at the moment.

Ed,there is NO excuse.1.....NR could have waiyed 2 weeks to do a Placing at a much higher share price 2....They should have used primarybid.com to offer Placing shares to both pi's and ii's.one day in the future i hope all secret placings to ii's are made illegal as this is blatant discrimination and they are forced to use a service lile primarybid to level the playing field and allow us pi's to invest at the same cheap prices at the samr time as ii,'s.its been long overdue and in the next couple of years i hope private placings are a thing of the past.

as we all know, NR could have waited for excellent flow test results and did a placing at s much higher price thus diluting SOLO pi's alot less. this would have been great for pi's.but no....cheap shares at mates rates for the boys and screw the small investor.all shares should be legally forced to use a service such as primarybid.com to offer cheap shares to BOTH pi's and ii's at the same price as happened with both SOU and AST very recently.

Drilling requires substantial payments ahead of spud, that's the way its always been. SOLO needed the cash to progress Ntorya, they chose the easiest and best way to do this at this point. Would some of you prefer to sell our only cash flow or farmout NT before we get NT-3? 5.7% dilution is small beer with huge upside.

He cannot announce NT-3 ahead of NT-2 result, he cannot announce anything about NT-2 until the operator does so. It costs SOLO $2.5m per well drill costs and they get about $1.5-2m pa from KN-1.

the placing was nothing to do with NR being worriedaboit flow test results..its for the same reason it always is, cheap shares for the city guys ahead of expected excellent news and nothing for us.
