13/1/2017 12:11 | 2 bites of cherry imminent | lithological heterogeneities
13/1/2017 12:10 | ANGUS ENERGY About to drill Brockham and the kimmeridge imminently. SOLO own 6.5% of HH where UKOG drilled and flowed 1,600 barrels per day last year from the Kimmeridge, just 5 miles away from Brockham. Any success at the kimmeridge at Brockham will impact Solo Oil. | lithological heterogeneities

13/1/2017 11:28 | LH, Good man, nice timing. Once we get that intermediate casing set it'll only be 800m approx to TD. Regards, Ed. | edgein
13/1/2017 11:24 | nice to see my top up moved it back up :0) | lithological heterogeneities
13/1/2017 10:22 | Tem, Yes VOG look good value and drilling those appraisal wells, I have them on my watch list. But cap almost £40m, they could have a good run perhaps £60-80m on successful appraisal drilling. But that's still some way off the bagger potential at SOLO given the discoveries here that are barely priced in the current cap, let alone adding in 25% of 300Bcf+ or 1Tcf+ based on the possible outcome of NT-2/NT-3. VOG is good, it just ain't SOLO good. Regards, Ed. | edgein
13/1/2017 10:13 | yes but victoria oil and gas been producing gas for 2 years and shareprice rock bottom...but was 5 times higher 4 years ago when producing nowt...dont make sense unless you are a marketmaker | temmujin
13/1/2017 10:02 | Its a funny old market at the moment! MATD for example, market cap of £37m, completely speculative given their past history of drilling results, vs SOLO cap just £26m and current owner/partner of 4 discoveries (KN-1, NT-1, HH-1 and Arreton). We're already most of the way down a potential game changing well too. MATD are still months or longer away from drilling. Regards, Ed. | edgein
13/1/2017 09:55 | Whoppy, Agreed, good to see partners on the rise as we approach the next key stage in the well. Going from the chart the resistance at 0.42 was very brief previously and they sure weren't drilling NT-2 at the time! So as you say 0.4p should be broken here soon as we progress towards what may be a little more stubborn resistance at 0.50-0.56. Hopefully, fingers crossed TD will take care of that one too. ;) It may not be as difficult to crack this time around given the small cap here and the size of the potential prize at NT-2 though. What makes this even more exciting though is the vicinity of the gas demand including that nearby cement factory currently powered by diesel. Having the ability to get this to market quickly and cheaply is a great bonus, should hear something more out of SOLO/AEX next week imo. Regards, Ed. | edgein
13/1/2017 09:52 | whoopy, You may well be correct. I thought the share price would have hit 0.5p earlier in the week. GLA, GD Edited. What Solo need is a spread similar or tighter than Aminex | greatfull dead
13/1/2017 09:44 | 0.4p should be broken today. AEX are on a march. | whoppy
13/1/2017 08:55 | Good start to the day. All buys, good to see. GLA, GD | greatfull dead
11/1/2017 13:52 | C, You'll find that SOLO entered Tanz first for the Likonde well before buying into the Canadian asset at the time I held AEX so remember the SOLO farm-in with AEX/Tullow. Tiny is back touting for business I see. :) I don't think too many holders here will be selling to buy AEX, SOLO is much less risky due to its diversification of assets and oversold position. SOLO for example has 1/3 of the wi in Ntorya, but AEX has more than x3 SOLO's current market value and a large element of Ntorya speculation built in. SOLO is barely trading on its share of KN-1 and the two UK discoveries with practically nout in the price for Ntorya. Its called banging your head against a brick wall when it comes to AEX holders touting for business here, as its just like AEX except much much cheaper. Regards, Ed. | edgein
11/1/2017 13:33 | AEX looking solid guys. Play the two. | tidy 2
11/1/2017 12:58 | When I bought in it was a long time before Tanzania they were drilling aus1 in Canada many year ago | c31161
11/1/2017 12:53 | I guess you'll be hoping NT-3 comes in then too! :) First time I bought these I paid 0.22p per share, the last time I bought them I paid 0.27p per share. :) I held AEX for NT-1 as it had better upside at the time than SOLO, things have changed a lot since then though. Regards, Ed. | edgein
11/1/2017 12:23 | GD, Best way to be. If an investor took a negative view he'd rarely invest anywhere. the future is bright, the future is SOLO. :) Regards, Ed. | edgein
11/1/2017 12:00 | Optimism over pessimism every time for me. Keep one sane too. | greatfull dead
11/1/2017 11:11 | The sells get snapped up very quickly! | 1bonanza
11/1/2017 10:41 | Whoppy, Yup good to see, just makes SOLO all the better value! Their £81m cap will multibag if there is success at NT-2, we'll just multibag more at £24m cap as the UK assets aren't priced in! The cap here barely justifies the current discovery at NT-1! Let alone two potentially very significant UK oil discoveries with Kimmeridge potential at Arreton and HH. Exciting times ahead as they're drilling through the intermediate section as we wait. Regards, Ed. | edgein
11/1/2017 10:24 | AEX on the up! | whoppy
11/1/2017 10:06 | news imminent...mms taking no chances with spread 0.32-0.4 | temmujin
10/1/2017 18:18 | This is all looking very positive, reminds me of the fast spike up to 1.3p that we rode on the HH run up, if timings are such that news runs parallel we could well be pushing past that even with the dilution. Pardon the unintended "well" pun ! | 1bonanza |
