09/1/2017 11:37 | We are 20 days into the drill and past half way and DL has tweeted this morning that the second half of the drill will be a hell of a lot quicker than the first | c31161
09/1/2017 09:24 | Good to see the well progressing as planned and currently drilling the intermediate section. Already almost half way to TD. I guess we'll get another update when they cement the intermediate casing before they enter the final stage of drilling, they're already a couple of days into the 12" hole now. All going to plan at present, getting exciting. Regards, Ed. | edgein
09/1/2017 09:15 | 1bonanza, Exactly. Thats the way I like companies to report to their investors. GLA, GD | greatfull dead

06/1/2017 15:02 | Good to see the first stage of the breakout. Still quite remarkable as we approach the result of NT-2 appraisal well that the cap is still barely over £20m. Not so long ago companies would have traded more than that on the back of the IoW assets and HH. Let alone the two discoveries in Tanz. Sou for example traded at over £100m when they hoped to drill Badile exploration well, its still not drilled. Its about 1/2 the size of Ntorya if NT-2 comes in and around 1/10 of the size of Ntorya if NT-3 comes in! Market is still asleep it seems. :) Regards, Ed. | edgein
06/1/2017 15:01 | Think this might be that start of the breakout if we can maintain this level into close today | c31161
06/1/2017 14:16 | GD, I wouldn't like to say which way it'll go, just quoting a recent interview from NR that suggested that SOLO was an investment company in O&G. They've held onto KN-1 so far so you never know. They may hold some or sell some or NR might change his strategy. We'll find out after HH test and Ntorya results I guess. I've learned over the years not to try too hard to second guess AIM management, when you think they're about to do one thing something else happens! Cheers for the links in the messages, cleared up what I wanted to know. Regards, Ed. | edgein
06/1/2017 13:30 | Ed, Thats a shame because in my opinion if HH comes good it would be a money spinner for yeats. Sent you some private messages not Solo related. GLA, GD | greatfull dead
06/1/2017 13:08 | Light blue touch paper..... from several years of experience I know how quickly this can takeoff!! Like a homesick angel !! | 1bonanza
06/1/2017 13:05 | pushing now gl | runwaypaul
06/1/2017 11:31 | GD, In one of the recent interviews NR stated that SOLO is an "investment company" rather than a future production company. I think the strategy here will be invest in undervalued assets, develop and then sell off once fully appraised. But we'll see if this strategy changes. Quickly monetizing NT for example if NT-3 is successful could potentially make some a significant amount of money in short order. Regards, Ed. | edgein
06/1/2017 11:02 | bye ,bye 2's | temmujin
06/1/2017 10:55 | Ed, I personally would like NR to keep HH. ATB, GD | greatfull dead
06/1/2017 09:18 | Temm, Wouldn't compare the two at all. AST has been struggling to develop that tight gas field for 10-15 years, much much higher geological and developmental risk with their main asset compared to SOLO. Ntorya for example is a high porosity, high premeability and over pressured reservoir. It has very very high productivity with only 3.5m flowing 3500boepd on test. Moreover it has two kimmeridge assets, HH and Arreton both have potential for significant unstimulated flow rates. I won't be adding AST any time soon that's for sure its assets are nowhere near the quality nor economic potential of SOLO. SOLO looks way more than the potential to double, any one of these assets could see it double. If it hits on both NT-2 and NT-3 in the near term its got clear mid-cap potential which is significantly more than double. Also 30% of Arreton if that 100ft or so of pay in the limestone flows will be another kimmeridge development and a material asset for SOLO. Both could send this to mid cap. HH is useful to have too, prove it up, sell it on and use the funds to develop Ntorya and Arreton. Regards, Ed. | edgein
05/1/2017 20:14 | AST and solo look a good double...best to be in both | temmujin
05/1/2017 14:01 | GD, Yeah its my only other oiler at present, I was tempted to take a little punt on ANGS today, but holding off at present. EOG and holmwood taking in a little short term action at present, good to see. Regards, Ed. | edgein
05/1/2017 13:57 | Whoever he is, he thinks AST has higher upside than SOLO, LOL! Regards, Ed. | edgein
05/1/2017 13:52 | Good to see this mornings the share price downward trend gone. Onwards and upwards. OT. Anyone looking at EOG? | greatfull dead
