been told UK could be looking at importing gas from tanzania...solo?

The UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) agency is encouraging increased investment from UK firms in the emerging opportunities in the Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Mozambique and Tanzania oil and gas industries.

According to the UKTI, opportunities exist for UK companies to get involved early and work to develop these new opportunities in Africa where the untapped basins and reserves are becoming more accessible as improvements to infrastructure are made.

Speaking at a recently held East and West Africa oil and gas seminar, Dr. Vince Cable MP, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills indicated that the UK has been working closely with local African governments to locate and establish sustainable and profitable opportunities.

“UK oil and gas is organized, ambitious and working well with government to maintain long term competiveness via the industrial strategy to maximize production of UK oil and gas resources and sustain and promote the UK supply chain here and overseas,” he said.

The UKTI office in Dar es Salaam works with companies in Britain to increase their competitiveness through overseas trade in Tanzania and also works with Tanzanian companies looking to locate and expand in the UK.

Think you will find EP are all out as of Friday.What we are seeing is probably just ppl selling who bought in at 0.22 so quite healthy churn IMO

Yeah definitely amazing volume for just the first hour of trading. With the appraisal well due to spud in December the market is starting to catch on to the potential upside here. As NR said in the TipTv interview earlier this month, N-2 could add £50m, £60m, £70m, that's a price up to 1.25p and then we'll have HH activity starting. Folks might as well get some cheapuns in now before the action starts, I haven't seen another small cap O&G company with two potentially company making appraisal/developments in such a short time frame recently. Gonna be an exciting two months.

Our Solo Oil valuation is based on the existing and potential value of the Ntorya Gas Project, although we also include value for Solo’s Horse Hill and Isle of Wight interests and the cash flows from Kiliwani North. We calculate a £59m risked NAV for an 0.84p target price.
