12/10/2016 09:40 | I really don't know how anyone can criticise Neil Ritson, if it wasn't for him SOLO would be bust. I remember when we drilled last time, the partners were TULLOW, AEX and SOLO. According to TULLOW we had drilled a duster, they pulled out and gave their share of Tanzania to SOLO and AEX. Neil Ritson said, no this is not a duster we need to drill deeper so we drilled deeper and discovered gas and condensate, there were also shows of oil. Now this discovery has also helped us with our seismic testing and Neil said the results of the seismic show that around 2 km away it shows much thicker sands and believes there is a least 4 times the amount of gas than our present well. What Neil has not mentioned is oil, it wouldn't surprise me if this next drill discovers recoverable oil as well as gas. Now what will that do to the share price? | c31161
11/10/2016 08:27 | Another 45M churned...interested to see how the day plays out | simon8
10/10/2016 12:43 | LFD, Yeah likely in a success case for sure. They have 75% of Ntorya but a £66m cap so some of its success already in there, £66m would be a bit toppy for KN alone. SOLO basically priced cheaply on HH let alone the other assets. On a success case I would imagine a possible 3-4+ bagger here and perhaps AEX will exceed £200m. We are talking potential TCFs of gas in Ntorya (recent presentation suggested 4Tcf potentitial on licence). Who knows in this market on a success case on N-2 and a possible N-3 we may get over-valued like SOU. SOU and PANR went to crazy caps on a good well for PANR and a modest well result for SOU. Its a funny old market at the moment for the O&G companies. A few years ago SOLO would be at 2-3 times where it is just on anticipation of drilling Ntorya. Regards, Ed | edgein
10/10/2016 10:59 | Anyone heard of Epsilon before - >14% of Solo held - guessing they're the new guys from the placing? In Huxley's Brave New World the Epsilon's were pretty lowly and not given much intelligence.... have they picked their company wisely or is their name a reflection of their holding in SOLO!!!!! | simon8

06/10/2016 18:14 | When has NR ever told a lie? | c31161
06/10/2016 17:20 | Cheers Edgein, could do with decent news. Ive been decimated by lies and bs from ceo's. How do they get away with it? | doerx2
06/10/2016 14:04 | Doerx, I guess you are talking about one of the latest LGO wells? I thought they were running out of cash at the time to fund their debt, before they got the debt rearranged etc. Perhaps they'll go back and sidetrack that well or drill a new one when they free up the cash. Sometimes its almost as costly to sidetrack as a new well, only less potential for flow rates, and they'll be limited by the diameter of the sidetrack etc and well design options. Perhaps they'll go for more LC wells after they do the next shallow wells. Personally I'm staying out of LGO until I see some well results and sustainable production. SOLO on the other hand has serious multibag potential on these next two high impact wells, that's why its boot filling time. If they find the same amount of viable reservoir in N-2 as N-1, even though they're targeting a much thicker prognosed section, it'll be off to the races here. Regards, Ed. | edgein
06/10/2016 11:47 | As for the gushers Edgein I still think the mechanical failure was bs and set up IMO. I am no expert but why not do a side track above the concrete plug? And perforate the reservoir!!! | doerx2
06/10/2016 10:23 | Seems like the government are backing fracking oil onshore. | whoppy
06/10/2016 10:05 | Love how LGO and SOLO gets pumped with "bigger and bigger prospects" , but cannot sustain any erection without constant viagra(money) injection. This is AIM' the place where dreame get crushed and house ALWAYS wins. | rwauu
06/10/2016 10:03 | Things are so bad for solo, that Rotson will go with a dust pan begging fof money in some Grimmer North areas. Forget London. London's BB morons had enough of LGO and SOLO rubbish. They got fed up. As there is a saying-"fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...." But when lifestyle companies continue fool investors.... Hmmm... | rwauu
06/10/2016 10:00 | Doer, OFF-TOPIC It might come back eventually when the oil price rises again, they could be doing with some of those impressive flow rates that they achieved early in the campaign but not achieved since it seems. ON-TOPIC Interesting presentation on the SOLO website today from the investor presentation they gave last night. Prospectivity is 4Tcf for the area at present, that's bigger than I thought it was, anywhere close to that onshore would be a very impressive asset. Also from the prentation plans to drill N-2 and N-3 with the construction work almost complete for the pad for the N-2 site. With the civil works almost complete it shouldn't be too long before we get the spud RNS and get the ball rolling. Regards, Ed. | edgein
05/10/2016 12:51 | Ok Edgein, Wish i had got out of lgo and put it all into water:) | doerx2
05/10/2016 09:34 | Doerx, I haven't been away, just switched from oil and gas to mining ages ago. Haven't held LGO for a long long time. Gold producers are the place to be right now, SOLO and EOG are my only oil and gas holdings, rest are gold, tungsten, base metals and power gen. Regards, Ed. | edgein
04/10/2016 18:29 | Nice to see u back edegin how is lgo doing for you? | doerx2
04/10/2016 18:27 | I would be expecting more monies this month and surely this is price sensative info. | doerx2
04/10/2016 15:03 | Doerx I assume we have them, the company does not need to announce to everyone each time they receive payment to an invoice. I am guessing now that on stream and money coming in the only announcement that may happen in that respect is if they don't pay us! So if we hear nothing safe to assume all in the bank........ | simon8
04/10/2016 14:28 | Where are our monies this month? | doerx2
04/10/2016 09:36 | Well Simon, I hope that's the way it goes! Should get an announcement in the follow up to the rig mob and spud soon. Regards, Ed. | edgein
04/10/2016 09:29 | Ed... cheers for the upbeat analysis, I do occasionally get very negative about these, probably rightly so but will hold on as my losses are so large it is really not worth getting out with the drill coming up and if we do have positives then I hope to mitigate my position! | simon8
04/10/2016 09:24 | Simon, If you bought in less than 1p back in 2014 you should be ok imo. The rig is for one well slot and one optional slot for appraisal. On a successful result from N-2 I'd expect price action similar to Sept 2014 as this is a potential company making well. 1Tcf+ onshore Tanz and close to the new national pipeline would be transformational to SOLO and its cap. If they go ahead with the optional rig slot and drill it North of Ntorya and prove gas between Ntorya and Likonde we could be looking at multi TCF on this licence. SOLO holders may have a reason to feel optimistic soon since the current share price barely underpins the value at HH and KN-1 production with the upside on Ntorya not price in yet at all. Any kind of success that resembles N-1 and there will be fireworks. In that scenario if they take the additional appraisal well slot we could get a share price performance that rivals 88e (I held those too). Regards, Ed. | edgein |
