Results still not out.
Doesn't bode well, but can't see these falling any further.
Hope they keep up the divi payments!

Hi Moosie,
Nice to see I'm not the only one on this ship.
I'm also holding on as its not worth selling.
I'm even entertaining the idea of buying a few more, as I think they have been oversold - considering they are still paying out divs (when last I looked).
Question is will they continue paying out - will have to wait for the results to find out!

it's just you.

Only kidding! It's not worth selling out at this price so I'm around for the next year or two...

Results due end July according to website and last year's release date.

To be fair, and I largely agree with you, but they are not exactly giving them away, they will have to pay 31.5p. It's a form of fundraising at current prices, which can't be considered too bad. Now if they were granted with an option price of say 1p, that would be ginving away nealy 10% of the company as a performance incentive.

interim results should be out next week. I wonder if the profits will have risen or stayed roughly the same?

Hello Moosie,
Thanks for the post - I appreciate the company!
I look forward to reading your analysis.

Hi JayKayTee

Not much to talk about really. Same old usual lot of small sales between results announcements driving the price down.

The purchase price of RZ looked a little high, but hopefully overhead savings should make it more economical long-term.

Personally, if the interim profits here equal last year then I would expect the share price to move upwards. However, with the various purchases I am looking for increased profits and so another jump in share price (say to 60p).

I am in the middle of doing an analysis of the whole sector but if I finish it I'll most likely post it over on the Fool as there's only you and me here!!! However, early signs suggest SSP still the best value.

Cheers

Moosie.

Looks like someone purchased 10000 shares yesterday which has led to the small share rise. There has been no transactions prior to this for over a month. Perhaps the buyer is aware that last year's interim dividend was 2p a share, and that results will be out next month, which should be in line with last year's profits? Anyway, back to sleep on this lonely BB.

Looked in last week's Shares magazine and at long last SSP was mentioned (albeit briefly in a one liner).
It was recommended simply for the dividend payout.
I tried selling some of my holding on a couple of occasions but the market simply wouldn't accept any significant amount of stocks (i.e. anything above a thousand shares). Perhaps there's not much of a market for this lot until the interim results are out? Any views greatly appreciated
That's all folks.

SSP went ex-div on 20th July so essentially we've seen no drop in the share price to reflect the 2p dividend!

Maybe we might see 60p soon then...

price has started to drift down a bit too soon for my liking. However I won't consider selling until this goes ex-dividend.

well smashed my forecast of 385k. 60p looks like good value. wonder if they will buy more shares back.

Hi JayKayTee

Now I wish I'd clicked the trade button on the 10k 39p buy deal I lined up when we had the blip down you can see on the graph a couple of weeks ago!

Still if you want to sell in quantity then the price could go down just as quickly.

Cheers

Moosie.

I am also looking to hold on until it goes ex-div. With regards to the share price, anything over 50p and i'm well happy.
Cheers

Fair value to me is about 50p, so we're looking toppy already.

Dividend yield of 6% and potential for growth/acquisitions on the upside, but they are still very small and only need one shock to push them back to a loss.

Will be very tempted to sell at 60p per share (post final dividend) and look at other opportunities in the market.

Cheers

Moosie.

Anybody got any idea what fair value for this share should be based on these results?
