lots of excellent research on Investor Village website by oiljack and belt which is well worth a read. Talking up $10 by the end of the summer. He does love a good ramp but he has called it very well so far. big kick outs in production coming our way soon. does anyone have a geologial background that could explain to me how the Costy field is defined by faults especially to the north and also to the South East ?

regards,

norman

Thats what we have to expect investing in oil E & P companies,still plenty of upside to come.According to the IV bb the main market listing in Canada was submitted 5 weeks ago and normally takes 6-8 weeks to go through,it should give the share price a boost when they move up.

fag packet valuations. for the optimists. obviously this is just a basic NAV figure.

Putumayo Basin NAV at $100 Brent ( so potential 30% uplift in these values ).

75mb = £4.50 estimated to be current minimum field size.

100mb = £ 6.00

150mb = £ 9.00

200mb = £ 12.00

Early seismic from adulis resources 2005 report indicated there may be 200mb in the Putumayo.

Catatumbo Basin. ( To be drilled Q4 08 )

Again upto 200mb potential + Over 350ft of oil pay in Amoco well from old well data. So potential again for another £ 12.00 here.

Go to P.44

This doesn't include the Lanos Basin which we are currently drilling.

Our current share price of £2.80 or $5.45 is still someway short of GTE at $8.00
and we have only explored about 5% of our land package in Colombia.

There is lots of other interesting information including some seismic in the old Adulis Resources reports from June 2006 on the Solana website. They make for interesting reading.

based on the potential and the cash flow coming on line with oil behind the pipe we are still looking very undervalued.

Why not add to a constant riser? Just as effective.

Well may be a small pull back, but looks as though we will have to be happy with the shares we have.

From Oilvoice on Friday...
Maybe they are ahead of schedule?
Maybe it is another rig that is out and they're also anxious to get back?

The Pride-17 rig used to drill Costayaco-4 was released on June 7, 2008, and is currently being moved to the Costayaco-5 location. Costayaco-5, a field delineation well, is located approximately 1,120 meters west of Costayaco-2 and 1,060 metres north west of Costayaco-1. This well is targeting down dip portions of the productive reservoirs on the western flank of the field in an attempt to determine an oil water contact in the Villeta T reservoir, and to further define the Costayaco field reserves. Drilling is expected to commence in late June and be completed in late July.

The partners have embarked on a continuous Costayaco drilling program which will include Costayaco-6 and Costayaco-7 in 2008.

Production from the Costayaco field is currently trucked to the offloading facilities at Uchupayaco which is connected to existing pipeline infrastructure. The 10 kilometre, eight inch pipeline from the Costayaco field to Uchupayaco, which will replace trucking operations, is currently under construction with a forecasted in service date of early August 2008. Once connected to existing infrastructure, plans are to ramp up Costayaco production to approximately 10,000 bopd, gross, overcoming the downstream Santana to Orito pipeline bottleneck by trucking approximately 3,000 bopd across this pipeline segment. The opportunity to possibly truck a further 3,000 to 5,000 bopd, gross, north to Neiva is being investigated. Additional infrastructure expansion to accommodate the anticipated increase in production from the continuing Costayaco drilling program and to negate the need for trucking is advancing.

They have something mega, in planning stage, for later in the year with GTE, ready to go just as soon as the can get Pride-17 back.

Got some of these the other day as well - at one point they were a constant 12 day riser on advfn - maybe an indication that someone is building up their stake in the company. Looks like after a dip this is paying off
