SOCO International plc (SIA) confirms that, as announced on 13 September 2017, Dr Mike Watts, has re-joined the Board as Managing Director and Jann Brown has joined the Board as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, both appointments effective on 12 November 2017. Prior to their appointments, Mike Watts and Jann Brown served as Co-Heads of Business Development in the Group since February 2017.

Mike Watts currently holds 363,093 SOCO shares, representing 0.109% of the issued share capital of the Company (excluding treasury shares). He was formerly the Deputy Chief Executive of Cairn Energy PLC and the Chief Executive of Holland Sea Search Holding NV. He also served as a Non-Executive Director of SOCO between August 2009 and January 2017.

Jann Brown currently holds 229,196 SOCO shares, representing 0.069% of the issued share capital of the Company (excluding treasury shares). She currently serves as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of both John Wood Group PLC and of Troy Income and Growth Trust plc. She previously served as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Cairn Energy PLC and is a Past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.

The Company confirms that there are no additional matters requiring disclosure under Rule 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
