27/9/2016 22:19 | Remember, 'A fool and his money are soon parted'. I have no intention of adding. | redartbmud
27/9/2016 19:19 | I took profits from ezj actually and bought back today nigel. | invisage
27/9/2016 18:49 | On OPEC, they will do a deal eventually. Maybe this week....more likely November, perhaps.http://www.w | emptyend
27/9/2016 18:36 | and yes it's been a difficult investment and as ee says we should have all sold at £4 and waited for the oil price collapse to buy back but that just isn't reality. You've got to look forward. Saudi will stop playing the "pump as much oil as possible" game when it suits them and that's when a cash rich oil producer like Soco will come out of this difficult time in a great position. There might be value in waiting before buying in but equally M&A could happen. One of those decisions for the individual to make. | nigelpm
27/9/2016 17:56 | The value is in the cash backing with the cash flow - combined it's a force to be reckoned with in a difficult outlook for oil stocks. Great to see Invisage ranting and raving - but thankfully he's filtered now - EZJ off 15% since he mentioned it - great call sir. | nigelpm
27/9/2016 17:53 | Thursday is the standard ex-divi day now - used to be Weds | nigelpm
27/9/2016 17:02 | 0rientI too have played that trade a few times. But we get to a point where that trade doesn't work anymore.I don't like buying stocks which have one puff left in the cigar. This stock is full of stale bulls who are looking for a bailout.I don't hate soco. I have no emotional attachment to a stock. | invisage
27/9/2016 16:52 | I bought at the very low Invisage today :-) will buy more too if oil drops further. Everyone here knows how much you hate SOCO..but I've bought around this price a few times now over the past 18 months and it's always been a good trade for 7/10% without exposing yourself to too much risk! | 0rient
27/9/2016 16:51 | I am struggling to see the great value here unless the oil price rises. Maybe I'm just getting jaded but I don't see production rates increasing in time for significant reserves to be written back on. I've still got plenty of these but not tempted to buy any more until we get some positive news on this front. | stepone68
27/9/2016 16:45 | Wowee your going to get a 2p dividend but the stock is down all out 6p today. | invisage
27/9/2016 16:43 | I've been buying again too today..do like Soco down here..risk/reward very low. I managed to get a decent trade filled just on the closing bell so will get the divi :-) | 0rient
27/9/2016 16:09 | Keep compounding those losses nigel | invisage
27/9/2016 16:08 | Looking great value once again. Not ready to top up again but under £1.30 will interest me again. | nigelpm
27/9/2016 13:32 | What a dog if a share this isLikely to go to 120p and lower after 2p ex div | invisage
23/9/2016 18:50 | Numpty emptySaudis don't see a deal on output so oil prices fall. | invisage
22/9/2016 12:54 | What a load of nonsense this share has been... | invisage
22/9/2016 12:45 | Lol Soco down whilst the rest of my portfolio goes Boom Boom.... | invisage
21/9/2016 19:23 | FWIW I expect some operational news in the next month or two, as I suspect some capex decisions have just been taken, crystallising the amount available to be paid out as dividends at this point in time.Does that mean more drilling, different production/developme | emptyend
21/9/2016 16:26 | What a strange idea - that the Government in Mongolia having some financial difficulties could impact the payment from a corporate based in China. A weird world some folk on here live in. Or maybe just a basic level of research isn't undertaken. | nigelpm
21/9/2016 16:15 | It's Chinese money, not Mongolian, that we are waiting for. Delays I'd expect, non arrival I wouldn't Peter | greyingsurfer |
