21/9/2016 15:28 | Thank goodness I am also in Hurricane which should go a lot higher. In the meantime in view of big financial problems in Mongolia surely there must now be a question mark against our money arriving soon or at all. | chessman2
21/9/2016 14:56 | EE You are very gracious. | redartbmud
21/9/2016 13:40 | Adam - not really one for here or for me. Technically interesting but I worry about project breakevens and political environment.Good luck with it - the market seems to like it (and Kerogen, which is important). | emptyend
21/9/2016 12:52 | Ee what is your view on Hurricane, I'd be interested to know? | adam
21/9/2016 12:39 | You are, of course, wrong about PV. De facto, PV do control TGT. All that Soco has in relation to TGT is a minority share in a licence. Even if Soco held a majority share it would still be the case that whatever happens or doesn't happen on that licence, it's only if the Government of Vietnam agrees. The Government of Vietnam will exert its influence and achieve its wishes through PV and the JOC. The lengthy delay in getting approval for a forward development plan for TGT speaks for itself.. I won't argue with any of the control points but the lengthy delay in part will be a function of the oil price. Why develop something which provides little - prudent planning in some ways. | nigelpm
21/9/2016 12:13 | (Cue: Emptyend's coterie of deniers step forward.)Pathetic Ed. | greyingsurfer
21/9/2016 11:21 | RPC up 3.55% ee Soco announces a dividend but it is barely up. | invisage
21/9/2016 10:41 | Emptyend OK red - one last chance. It's almost unbelievable or is it meant to be humourous? Do you really think anyone would be even the slightest bit troubled by your filtering them? What a weird world in which you live! If someone speaks to you in real life, do you try to gauge whether they voted 'in' or 'out' before deciding how to reply? You are, of course, wrong about PV. The lengthy delay in getting approval for a forward development plan for TGT speaks for itself. 21/9/2016 10:00 | OK red - one last chance. You should know very much better than to raise the topic in the presence of someone with a serious "problem". You will find that I pointed out that receipt can be expected to start in Oct/Nov. And the money hasn't been "owed for many a year" - in fact probably 20% or so of it still hasn't become due and payable, because the production payments kicked in at the start of this year and will take around the full year (ie to Dec 2016) to pay out in full. So there is no "tumbleweed" issue, however much you want to vent your unjustified frustration. As regards PV, it remains the case that PV and PTTEP are short of cash. However, whilst PV are very important, they do not "control" to the extent you negatively imply. I would be unsurprised if an operations update appeared out of the blue at some point and demonstrated that. | emptyend
21/9/2016 09:44 | ee You are trying my patience now. Why do you make assumptions without the facts. I VOTED OUT!! Regrettably the majority of posters on this board fail to accept that operations in Vietnam are controlled by PV, who are making the decisions. ee informed us weeks ago that the exchange controls and regulatory hurdles had been cleared for Mongolia to release the money owed for many a year. Since then the tumbleweeds have been blowing down the corridors od SOCO Towers. I rest my brief(s). red | redartbmud
21/9/2016 09:42 | Your comments ee has cost folk a fortune. How do you feel ? | invisage
21/9/2016 09:28 | Can't we just set up a new moderated thread? | adam
21/9/2016 09:23 | ...and there we have the nub of it. This is yet another manifestation of the frustrated Remainiacs who want to kill our democracy....and another for the filter. | emptyend
21/9/2016 09:14 | nigel Perhaps you should get a life and get a sense of humour. Just a suggestion, or is that wrong, as well. This board would be a waste of time without the odd dissenting view. Hope that you haven't peed your pants PS. How many weeks did we have to endure ee's unadulterated BREXIT drivel? red | redartbmud
21/9/2016 09:00 | I've got an idea. Why don't all the whiners and whingers sell up move on and get on with their lives. Always good to see reasoned bear arguments but dross for auntie dross's sake is not adding any value to anyone. | nigelpm
21/9/2016 08:47 | So, SOCO peeing on the shareholders. Still waiting for the Yak's milk from Mongolia. It must be cheese by now. Hey ho, 2p will pay my heating bill for 1 day, and winter approaches. It could be worse, I think. | redartbmud
21/9/2016 08:31 | Bulletin boards are useless. Go and learn how to invest and just follow your own methodology. Don't listen to anyone.Read Joel Greenblatts Magic Formula. That is all you need to know on how to invest. | invisage
21/9/2016 08:27 | ...ps...if ADVFN ran their boards properly, they wouldn't allow spamming. | emptyend
21/9/2016 08:26 | He doesn't. Its just lack of meds. | emptyend
21/9/2016 08:23 | Invisage...why do you hate SIA so much? Why you attempting to ruin a perfectly decent board? It's uncalled for and completely unnecessary | 0rient |
