I admire your persistency at being optimistic! I suppose I would do the same were I supporting a mid-table team! Got to keep interested somehow! LOL!

United by ten points for me!

Mr Abix,
As one who regularly refers to the ancient mystical world of charts to make some dosh, I have applied the same techniques to your competition..... and then changed me mind. If you take the second half of last season as a basis, we ain't gonna get diddly, mate. Everyone (except me) remembers that Utd. were blah de blah points behind Ar5e last year and still won the league....... well, we were a further 7 points ahead of the Ar5e, and finished (from memory) 16 points adrift of the title...... err, about a 34 point reversal springs to mind.... on the other hand, the charts could be heading for a retracement and we'll get back to the top of the table about November...... oh sod it; It's Friday and the markets are closed - Cognac time.

...and yet provide first rate satisfaction for an underperforming teams' supporters.

Also, don't forget, that for all your bullish and speculative claims, Liverpool have actually won something in Europe and been a damned sight closer to a CL final than your bunch over the last couple of years?

cognisenti of current football will know that events that take place in Cardiff are usually associated with 3rd rate cups and 5th rate rugby teams.

abix,

You are a sad loser - this thread proves it.

You're competition isn't clever, complicated or even interesting just a sad attempt to salvage some credibility from another disastrous season.

14 years and still counting......

Depends on the game, abix. I guess I slightly favour the team that plays the more attractive football. Or is getting particularly stitched up by the ref.

You must favour someone Stew?

Who are you, God?

You can replace "I've forgotten" with "England", abix. :-)

Seemed a bit pointless supporting a team when I wasn't interested in football 'til my teens.

At least you are brave enough to make a prediction unlike most mancs.

FFS it's only a bit of fun mancs!

So is Henchoz saying Houllier keeps screwing up the tactics as well, then?

BTW, he didn't say "Liverpool better when fit", he said "Liverpool better when all players are at their peak". Big difference! Consistency is an important part of being a good player.

Add me to the fools list, abix. Utd by 3-6 points. You might match Chelsea or Newcastle though!

I'm going to take it slow for you because I know you're a bit thick,

Henchoz says Liverpool better than United when fit- Liverpool now fit - proof of pudding over next period of the season.

Comprehende?

I doubt it.

Call me old fashioned but I always thought that it was the number of points amassed over a whole season and not just the second half of it that counted.

In 11 of the last 12 seasons we have had more points than you when it mattered and we will again this season.

Keep up your pathetic games to try and convince yourself that you've actually achieved someting in the league - sad really that that's all you have left!
