yep, they were very small proportions of their total holdings. All directors have to sell shares at some point and they are never going to sell the lot at the top. But small sells now and again seem perfectly reasonable to me and hardly a complete loss of faith in the co.

If they weere flogging 30-40% of their holdings I might wonder why.

I was a little concerned when I saw that Jeff Chatfield had sold some of his holding, but after checking, he only sold 5%. The other bloke sold approximately 10%. Nothing to panic about in my view.

If they'd both dumped 40%, that would have been a different story.

Yep, doing well here.

I was a bit worried that the recent director selling may depress the shares - but were now close to a new high.

Largely unnoticed, at least for now.

If you are interested in quizzing management, the company is exhibiting at this show in April: www.masterinvestor.co.uk. They have a few free tickets available for shareholders and other interested parties if you email the organisers at mi2010tickets@t1ps.com quoting 'Skywest shareholder'.

If i am reading that annoucement right not only is it good news that ML wanted 4 million shares and were willing to pay approx 21.5p per share, but also very good business by the company as the total purchase price of the shares was £430,000 approx and they have now sold them for twice that!!

This company is going from strength to strength and i know a few have taken profits as that is the natural thing to do when you have seen the rise the share price has but to me there looks like plenty more in the tank yet for newbies.

Ouch. I was in Aero Inventory too.

Ive sold all my Skywest now, and moved it into their spin off co. Avation PLC, which leases the planes (including their new A320) to Skywest. Does anyone else still hold Avation from when Skywest gave them out as a special dividend a few years ago?

CR - the wife has a few grand in DTG. Got in a little early at low 50`s & tempted to bail when touched low 40`s but held on (thankfully) due to a nice Director purchase. Jet2 a superb carrier & with a service second to none in the `low cost` sector. Chartered an aircraft with them several years back for a group booking to Tallinn & the admin service was fantastic. Use them frequently from BFS & load factor always appears good compared to Easyjet/Ryanair/Aer Lingus etc. Wife & I having a competition to see whose ahead in % terms by 31 Oct this yr - her DTG or my SKYW - loser pays for a citybreak. Bottom line is that I reckon we`re both gonna be quids in. Mind you - what the heck do I know - after all, I was also in Aero Inventory. Still hurts.

Been in this for a while now and very pleased. As a travel agent I felt that I was morally obliged to put funds into something related to my business and having looked at other airlines and hotel groups this one stood out by a mile. Oz based and with a ready supply of business commuters (largely mining related) I see only further upside as things pick up. Wish they`d get rid of that air stewardess photo in the header though - gets me frisky first thing in the morning. Reminds me of a pal who flew TWA (anyone old enough to remember them?) and when asked by a stewardess if he`d like coffee replied, "No thanks, but I`d love some of your TWA tea". Boom boom!

can't see what this is doing hanging around current levels. 50p would not raise eyebrows on a valuation basis. I am adding.

Incredibly thin trading in Oz usually.

Also, I think the Oz listing is only a CDI, which means its not actually officially listed.

Therefore its not ISAable - same as NGL.

My broker seems to think they are ISAable if you buy the Aussie version of the shares - trouble is the Aussie market is only open for about an hour dutring our trading time.
