Mobile should give some upside, however could not make a call on the German/Italian
business, the outlook for the SKY UK looks reasonable, just IMV.

Don't think that is in dispute but I think they may face significant competitive pressures and that ITV is a cheaper company on 2018 numbers with more operational leverage and more chance of being taken over than this thing

SKY is a great company imv, the big question mark is whether the European
acquisition pays off- or did Rupert get by far the better deal in selling.

Does not surprise me about football viewing figures.

Many of the televised matches this season have been really boring to watch and if you take Leicester out of the equation then last season was not much better.

I think the money is having a negative effect on the game with teams adopting a win at all costs approach which results in boring matches.

Not ideal when Sky have paid an absolute fortune for the rights.

boix are you still ramping these shares on takeover talk. I am surprised you were very vocal at 900p but silent on the matter at 775p. Speaks volume really doesn't it.


Yes the shares are a little bit over sold, but they were radically oversold two weeks on RSI when the shares were 810p and yet still they went lower

Wouldn't describe football viewing numbers down 19% for the year as in great shape - this company is in trouble and only a matter of time before that manifests itself in weaker UK subscriber numbers as well as weaker advertising numbers

If 770 breaks which it looks like it might do then next support 710.
770 is same price as 2012/2013
