24/8/2016 16:31 | With respect your statement about ITV and the ad market is just twaddle. The ITV share is not pricing on what the ad market is doing today, or tomorrow or in the third quarter, but next year. People are buying this for the recovery because the majority of analysts unnecessarily took a hatchet to earnings estimates. Right now its far to early to say how ad overtiming will develop, but the economic signs are promising and advertising does tend to be a GDP + type business. | raffles the gentleman thug
24/8/2016 15:56 | BOIX good day, please stop the Old School ramping of SKY this is serious people's pensions are at stake here. This will go supanova like I've said from the start this is over valued big time. Now, I have said that it would bleed value from the start of the year and it has and will continue to in a slow arduous fashion until the day it hits that magical stoploss limiter and goes supanova (type 2 slow implosion before explosion). Like all supanova a rebirth will take place, timing is important if you want to ride this with a long trade.Important: Do not listen to the old school rampers. | ball deap
24/8/2016 14:51 | Sky a screaming buy but good luck you need it. Regards | boix
24/8/2016 11:07 | Getting my buying boots on now in SKY. ITV about to break higher once ETO resolution is out of way. WPP reporting UK advertising on the mend. Virgin Media raising pricing, and shares down £1 since the good results with one of the most over sold RSIs I can find | raffles the gentleman thug
19/8/2016 20:57 | Agree Ball Deap and when it explodes equities will also explode ... to the upside | raffles the gentleman thug
19/8/2016 17:18 | katie priceless You are a dreamer. Look at the weekly media/advertising trade press or wait for the next ITV trading update. | boix
19/8/2016 14:48 | Sky RSI showing now flagging chronically oversold | raffles the gentleman thug
19/8/2016 14:09 | Katie..........its all going on - as they say so just sit back and wait. | anley
18/8/2016 21:02 | Virgin Media increasing prices for THIRD time this year - TV packages by up to £3.49 per month and line rental up by £1.01 per month - average customer paying 5.1% more from November | raffles the gentleman thug
18/8/2016 11:44 | Perhaps your friend has an attitude problem. You never know ! RSI now oversold and I am buying for short term rebound, helped not least by the remarkably encouraging economic data which is flowing forth - never in recent years has the consumer been in such a beneficial impact of enjoying real wage growth and low finance costs, and that should help domestic cyclicals such as Sky | raffles the gentleman thug
17/8/2016 18:46 | Sky is undergoing a "market" change which the market is trying to understand hence the roller coaster price movement............ | anley
17/8/2016 16:30 | I am almost ready go the other way and buy - moving into oversold on RSI and nearing prior support levels. But I agree ITV has also been slipping and is arguably an easier investment decision. Or at least should be were it not or the ETO issue clouding things. | raffles the gentleman thug
17/8/2016 15:20 | SKY falling faster than ITV so sold and bought more ITV | katie priceless
17/8/2016 14:43 | I add net debt on to the market cap when when attempting to assess value. The debt in itself is a non issue for Sky in the context of FCF, however you need to view the valuation with that £6 Billion debt in mind- just my take. | essentialinvestor
17/8/2016 14:13 | EssentialInvestor I am a little confused. Were you advocating the merits of their ability to take on more debt, or the degree to which they can de-lever and with an unchanged EV see a debt to equity value transfer ? Thanks | raffles the gentleman thug
17/8/2016 12:35 | The conclusion takes seconds- net debt represents nearly 40% of the market cap, you factor that in to any valuation imv. | essentialinvestor
17/8/2016 12:15 | Have a good pock arounf the SKY balance sheet so please do your own investigation and then you can draw your own conclusions. Thanks......... | anley
16/8/2016 19:39 | Mentioned net debt re the valuation, not serviceability. | essentialinvestor
16/8/2016 19:28 | anley I take back what i said , good post | katie priceless
16/8/2016 18:31 | Most of the debt is medium term fixed - 3years and upwards - so this is not a problem for a cash flow business such as SKY......... Look at my POST 96 when I mentioned that Loan Notes had been repaid.............. | anley |
