The statement below was not written by a 'poster' but by SRSP themselves via an rns only 8 weeks ago.....and IS Major News.



'.. the contract is for a multi-well campaign, which will commence in the first half of 2017...

What part of the above SRSP statement are people having trouble with?

Some people just can't see the wood for the trees.

As disappointing as the suspected dilution is ,it seems it is all part of the process.Sirius has never been one for the faint hearted,that said I am still confident that what we are working on is significant.The company will have had a good idea as to how many shares they would have by first oil and this was more than hinted at with by the 1.7 billion agm resolution..Apart from the 170 million spike after christmas the chart is still in its trend upwards.Lets see whatthe dilution is all about and then maybe things will become clearer.

Aventador nobody listens pal! All the news we have supposedly sat on over the years while dilution has been the name of the game for this bod! The same posters always say final boot fill/clearing the decks before Major news which it never is! Some posters On here seem happy to see potentially 3b shares in issue with still no sign of oil! Just another mates rates placing on the way! Free money for those in the know! That's what this has been about to date!

Maybe calvets 14 million tipped the percentage balance ...more dilution was on the cards.calvet gave up some of the loan entitlement so the 14 million was not about raising a bit of cash...

How do you know they didn't? Until recently there's clearly been a large seller(s) for a number of weeks. I think we'd all frankly hoped that the Calvet deal had disappeared.

Calvert acquired 14m on the 16th of Jan in lieu of £70k of debt... that's 0.5p a share....they could have dumped at 1p....but didn't.

Sounds like a forward-sold placing imminent, with mms book-balancing. Sorted, bid quantity now opens right up. Nice work if you can get 'em at 0.5p and offload straight away at say 0.75p. 200m would pay off D accruals in the last deck-clearing exercise and remove the sticky obstacle to progress. Just a thought.

Sol - another possibility is that there's no delay with partner 4 and they simply might not be revealed until after the Ororo drill and other elements of the plan come together. If you consider what the roles of the consortia partners are... why do we need them... what do they want from us etc... then you can construct arguments on both sides. So I'm keeping an open mind as to when we might hear. Hopefully asap, but it's certainly not definite.

Surely partner 4 has a different role to play and the first 3 were important to announce asap, particularly due to their direct association with Ororo. Partner 4 may have nothing initially to do with Ororo drill, technically or operationally. They may even have no direct interest whatsoever in that asset.
