"Yesterday’s agreement has truly changed the landscape for oil over the coming years, putting a floor of $50 a barrel under oil prices. Prior to this agreement, the environment of sub $50 oil was likely to persist, but this move sufficiently addresses the supply/demand dynamics, with some 3.5% of supply being cut from January. It means 2017 will likely see prices around the $55-$60 a barrel mark, and we may yet see further jumps in prices as soon as next week if the non-OPEC members also agree a production cut at their meeting on Friday 9 December".

Alongfortheride.i am still confident Sirius is involved in something significant .i am just sharing my thoughts as to why the share price is stagnant.

Aventador.the 1.7 billion are important in my view, board directors say lots of things ,we only have to read the last few years rns,s and in my view we should exercise caution in what is said or alledged to be said.

All the information will be released in the cpr/ad doc once all the deals are signed and sealed, so sit back relax it will come then we will see a big difference in the share price finally.

They are not categorically going to issue the whole 1.7 billion shares they said so to our faces at the agm so stop saying that bron.

minichris,

Agreed, after what seems like years of stagnation, things finally seem to be moving. Over the last 6 months, the share price has been on a steady upward trajectory. The BoD, rather than appearing to have been asleep at the wheel (or sunning themselves on the beach), have been striking deals - only some of which they have so far felt obliged to promulgate. I imagine they're paddling away like duck's feet below the surface, in readiness to announce futher progress.

Couple all this (as you say) with the rise in the price of oil, and this would look like a sound investment - certainly not time to walk away after being invested this long. I may even consider adding a few more - though Santa might have other plans.

J.

@Bronislav - Your posts seem to have taken on a subtle negative slant recently, why is that ?

Minichris.any company wishing to go down the production route would give all details of CPR and spud dates ,what type of well etc and would then hopefully have increased the share price on the back of that newsflow and thus being able to issue those shares at a much higher price.Sirius seems to release the bare minimum which is contrary to a company concerned about its share price I am not saying we are not going to be a production company but in my view we are not acting like one.

I think the BOD will be wrong to issue all those shares in one go. All imo but the share price is too low to be dishing them out also. Drip feeding them at a higher share price shows more value. Assuming we don't need cash immediately.
