On a serious not I'd say there's a 50/50 chance we'll see our cash back maybe more, no doubt a huge cover up along with a few mile high hurdles have been in our way! What stinks about all this is the way we've been led up the garden path with rns's meetings and direct promises of imminent funding and oil production that have cost the lti near on 90% in losses in the last few years! This should and could turn around fairly sharp though if they so wish, just a waiting game now imho, let's hope it's a straight TO and a quick exit and pay cheque for us all.& Let's hope it's sooner rather than later and not another 3-4 years!

Sherl0ck - “Alfi/ Bron as advocates of the 'we've already drilled theory' how do you guys square that with the 22/4/16 RNS?”

The company wanted a CPR produced on the information that the company was willing to give to Rockflow

“This, together with the fact that only one well has been drilled in the Ororo Field”

The above comment was made in relation to the ‘ Basis of preparation of volumetric calculations’ and not in relation to any evaluation of the current operations undertaken by the company

“All volumetric calculations are based on independent mapping undertaken by Rockflow Resources International ("Rockflow") using data provided to Rockflow.”

The data used by Rockflow was that which I presume was given to it by the company.

The question is - if the Ororo-2a well drill was ongoing or complete at the time the company gave the said information to Rockflow had they any legal obligation to report to Rockflow regarding the status of the drilling of Ororo-2a

The April Operating update clearly states that only one well has been drilled, so this would still be at odds regardless of who actually drilled O-2A. Even if Sirius didn't have to proactively inform us of a drill, it would be very misleading to purposely include those exact words in the RNS if it isn't in any way factual. Surely if it's a grey area and somewhat sensitive, they just don't include any wording that might convey variance to the truth.

The dpr permit issued on the 26 th October affirmed thepartners right to continue opps and drill Ororo 2A....Sirius provided the financial and technicals and guarantee was the partner that drilled it ,or at least in their name.Sirius don't need to announce the drill as they didn't drill it.Nobody but those close to the company would know but it's a nice thought .

And the RNS did state "Rockflow ......building on the previous work carried out by Schlumberger, which was announced on 10 December 2013. Maybe they have used 3D?

Thanks bonski. So just to be clear do you feel that the 22/4/16 RNS was accurate in that no one had drilled an appraisal well by that date but that we initiated one between then and the permit expiry on 26/4/16?

For the record I don't agree that we could only position 3 wells after having first drilled an appraisal well or sent a probe back down O-1. Havoc, Schlum & RF can look at the available data on O-1 and the seismics on the rest of the field and make informed judgements on the likely optimum targets. Remember the whole idea of appraisal is to better define the structure and limits of the hydrocarbons and prove up the asset. In this regard some appraisal wells will naturally prove to be more favourable than others. There's always some element of risk but utilising world class partners, their expertise and ability to use latest software to help analyse data may mitigate these risks.

I.e. If you use world experts on donkeys and you have a pretty good idea on the likely size, shape and position of a donkey and you can squint through a small gap in your blindfold, you increase your chances of successfully pinning that tail!

DrR - I try to retain an open mind and there are admittedly some interesting elements that may give credence to us having secretly drilled. I'm just trying to ascertain how these align with some quite clear contrary info from RNSs. I fully appreciate that there's lots the company don't/can't tell us and that we often hear about things after the event (licence renewal / CPR initiated etc) but I want to weigh up all the available evidence.

o/t

I couldn't help but notice Ophir have been very shrewd...a recent deal with Schlumberger collapsed so they've done the next best thing and pulled in Schlumberger's brains instead. (not too dissimilar from us utilising Havoc's brains and experience)

director change rns today (Ophir)
'Carl came from Schlumberger with posts including President of Schlumberger Integrated Project Management (IPM) and Schlumberger Production Management (SPM). Carl began his professional career as a petroleum engineer with Shell..

We were specifically told that the drill permit received was for O-2A so I'm not sure that putting a probe down Ororo-1 really cuts it, unless the permit simply gave permission for a single well and we could choose what to do. Alfi/ Bron as advocates of the 'we've already drilled theory' how do you guys square that with the 22/4/16 RNS?

Ororo has been re-entered and guarantee have appraised with ororo2A.Its fairly obvious reading the rns,s.Jobs sorted now,get Ororo out of the way and it is all good to go.production or sell off .matters not although I would prefer the sell off.

Agreed Jamie. Even if you ignore the multiple 4 & 6m trades @ 0.4p from last Thurs, there's been over 7m shares put through at 0.4p in the past 2-3 trading days. Some additional trades were also made at 0.4p when the bid switched to this same level. They might be sells but I also wouldn't be surprised if MMs have helped disguise additional buys by quickly manipulating the bid to equate to the same buy price before switching it back again. Either way it looks like a decent size order at 0.4p is being worked and it bodes well that they're not dropping the price much at all to fulfil it.
