28/8/2015 07:29 | Please don't buy any shares in this company. Please ignore the fact that Havoc have recently 'signed up' because they see something valuable and ignore the fact that the company is currently evaluating which joint venture offer is best for the company going fowards and also ignore the fact that Bobo is very well connected in Nigeria and has access to a pipeline of very valuable assets. Please ignore these things because in the not to distant future I have a wedge of money coming my way which I earmark for investment in Sirius and I want to buy these shares as cheap as possible. Thanking you in anticipation. | 1alfi

27/8/2015 23:14 | 'One of them looks like its leaking 100bopd' That's 36,500 barrels a year, 146000 barrels since SRSP first mentioned ORORO, and would have amounted to $14,600,000 to Sirius...anyway, the well will run dry before they raise the cash to pick the free oil up....they want the oil left in the ground so that they can keep referring to it when they need to print more shares for cash. They keep on about rigs getting cheaper....and here you don't even need a rig. There are companies floated on the TSX in Canada, using 'nodding donkey' rigs that are only producing 120 barrels a day total. But hey, why go to all those lengths of picking up free oil when it's easier to get cash out of punters, keeping them sweet by constantly referring them to 'the big one'....which reminds me of the old gold mining story, the only people that get rich in gold mining are those selling the picks and shovels. The bankers running this company know where the money is and how to get it....and it's not 3000m below ground. They could raise the cash via share holders...£25m is less than 2p a share. | htrocka2
27/8/2015 22:28 | Just watching Ross Kemp in Nigeria, he's found a few old wells in the delta that no one seems to own. Maybe srsp could claim one of them? One of them looks like its leaking 100bopd. | keya5000

27/8/2015 09:42 | Thunder... I've sectioned off a few sentences that I find curious..(my reply is in brackets under the sentences) The Ororo Field (OML 95) remains a highly attractive initial development asset for the Company. ('remains'....not a good choice of wording, it's always remained 'attractive' ever since the days of Chevron discovery in 2007... so they're telling us nothing and merely stating the obvious) .. coupled with lower development costs and decreasing rig rates, make the asset both economical at both current crude oil prices and also at significantly lower prices. (Very strange this one...They're implying that the rig has, as yet, not been contracted. It would have been far better to have had the rig operating at $120 a barrel than worry about saving a few coppers on rig costs at $40 a barrel) The Company continues to hold discussions with parties regarding investment in the Ororo Field. (note the plural...After four years ...still nothing signed up. It's amazing that the Nigerian Government are allowing them so much time without forward traction...surely it can't go in indefinitely like this....can it?) there is a large amount of potential upside from deeper structures which the Company is very keen to exploit. (just more carrots to keep shareholders 'hooked') o/t I'm still confused how Mimimko, the Ondo State Governor, who was the master mind behind the Owena asset transfer and accused of attempted murder and theft, managed to get hold of a 'get out of jail' card... unless of course...he got away with it, which, on the surface would appear to be the case, then any deals that SRSP may have had in place with Owena oil and Gas, may now have to be reviewed, or even re-negotiated by Owena Energy Mimimko's company.....which may be another missing piece of the jig-saw yet to be put in place. However, also being an SRSP share holder, he'll no doubt want the best of both worlds. With ref to the URL below.. his final two years as Governor of ONDO State are unaccounted for...obviously as he's had a lot on his plate. He loses his job as Governor in February next year, but I doubt we'll have heard the last of Dr.Mimimko. | htrocka2
27/8/2015 08:37 | 30 June 201530 June 2015Sirius Petroleum Plc.("Sirius" or the "Company")Final Results for the year ended 31 December 2014Sirius (AIM:SRSP), the investing Company focussed on oil and gas development and production opportunities in Nigeria, announces its Final Results for the twelve-month period ended 31 December 2014. During the period, the Company's focus has been on reviewing the opportunities available to the Company, both in terms of assets in Nigeria and the optimum financing and long-term strategy for developing those assets.Overview -- The Company's core corporate strategy is, working alongside financial and technical industry partnerson a joint farm-in basis, to exploit larger oil blocks in Nigeria. The Company also continues to monitor the award of upcoming marginal fields to be auctioned by the Department of Petroleum Resources in Nigeria, who are indigenous partners; -- Continue the development work completed on the Company's first marginal field, the Ororo Field, located in OML95, to optimise the well entry plans and field development; -- Appointment of Havoc Partners LLP as technical advisor to the Company and appointment of Jon Taylor and Alan Stein to the Technical Advisory Committee to strengthen the Company's in-house core competency; -- Marketing Agreement signed with BTG Pactual Commodities to off-take the Company's crude; -- Sirius has grown its local Nigerian team adding strong oil experience and developing key local relationships to enable Sirius to exploit the significant oil and gas opportunities available to indigenous companies in Nigeria; and -- A facility has been agreed with Calvet International, a family office, to assist the Company with its working capital requirements. Corporate Strategy UpdateThe Board has been actively reviewing the optimum strategy for Sirius in light of the current economic climate and lower oil prices. There remains a significant number of opportunities available to smaller E&P Companies in Nigeria and the Government's drive for the development of assets by indigenous companies sees Sirius well placed. Since the Company's inception, the focus has been on developing the right relationships to ensure that the Company can access assets not readily available to international companies. The Company is in discussions with regard to the participation in a significant oil block located in the shallow waters of the Niger Delta Basin on Nigeria's continental shelf. Our technical team, in collaboration with Havoc Partners, has begun full technical due diligence in order to review the optimum development strategy. The Company is in discussions with a number of parties with a view to a farm-in arrangement to develop the asset, utilising their financial and technical capabilities. This asset has significant 2P reserves and existing wells have been drilled. The intention is to conclude a joint venture agreement to enable Sirius and its partner to farm-in to the equity available in this Block. This would give Sirius a significant increase in its reserve base and Sirius would look to take advantage of the lower oil service costs to develop the asset. The Ororo Field (OML 95) remains a highly attractive initial development asset for the Company. The advantageous marginal field fiscal regimes, coupled with lower development costs and decreasing rig rates, make the asset both economical at both current crude oil prices and also at significantly lower prices. The Company continues to hold discussions with parties regarding investment in the Ororo Field. Within the identified structures, there is a large amount of potential upside from deeper structures which the Company is very keen to exploit.OutlookSiriu | thundercat1

26/8/2015 17:34 | Is this the share that time forgot?, An acorn planted in a pot, The germ to yield, from earthly cot, Or never sprout - condemned to rot? For I am blind - I cannot see, An end to all this misery, I yearn to have you drencheth me, In truthful, sage profundity. The money earned from life's cruel toil, Invested here perhaps to spoil, The wait goes on, my blood doth boil, Anoint myself with Tea-tree oil. You pays your money, take your choice, Visualise a new Rolls Royce, And will a PI, with no voice, Ever sing and dance - rejoice? One day up, the next day down, I'm sinking fast, yet I'll not drown, For though the Keyser acts 'the clown', He's the wisest dude in town. So ease my tortured mental state, Step up Sirius, to the plate, Give us news of fortune great, Oh Bobo, pray, delineate. | jenny tulwought

26/8/2015 11:22 | Other than missed dates and promises of great riches....Think the point was that once WRN pays out people will be taking cash and plowing into SRSP. Likewise when this pays out there are a few other shares that spring to mind that will no doubt rise due to demand. | 1dsk
