X1000......they are far from idiots and are extremely well connected business men with a network of close connections and associates in particular in Nigeria....I feel sure these guys will like to be thought of in a good light when Sirius is concluded and not thought of as rip off merchants ....I believe they would protect their own interests first at the expense of others but that goes for a large proportion of humanity but if they don't need to then shareholders will in my view be looked after ,especially the ones that see this through to the end....hopefully not too long to find out.

Sirius continue to work closely alongside the dpr ......DPR must be happy with the effort put into ororo if Sirius directly own it as per rns....Is it a possibility a guarantee of funding to develop ororo is already in place ,or more could it be that ororo 2 is being drilled as we speak but no need for revelations to market just yet as reporting restrictions apply now ororo is tucked away in a subsidiary....Sirius have ororo tucked away in a subsidiary for a reason.......unless the drilling team that we know are in place are sat twiddling their thumbs something has been going on since the beginning of 2015.

'Struggling for funding' - they had $20m on the table 10 months ago and CHOSE not to take it. Over the years this company has done everything possible to avoid actually raising money at a sensible share price and drilling for oil. Work that one out!

It seems to me that while they want to look like an O&G company, they're not really one. RRL and others release CPRs, share data, increase the share price and raise money accordingly. Sirius hides info and raises money at a very low share price.

The only logical explanation I can come up with is that they are simply a very clever vehicle established solely to prove up and transfer the ownership of assets from one party to another. Other than working capital to retain the listing, pay some wages and fund behind the scenes asset development work, they actually don't want or need any money to drill......they just have to appear that they do.

...the company doesn't give out any info....you can say that again, but when a National News Publication slanders Sirius petroleum and alleges that a government official unlawfully received over $450,000 from a firm, Sirus Petroleum Company Ltd and the company says nothing...is worrying. If SRSP need funding...sue the Publication, no need to issue more shares then....but they won't will they.

With reference to cutting and pasting...surely this board would be interested in any item that mentions SRSP?.

You don't think maybe...just maybe there's a correlation between these 'cut and paste' stories as you call them....and the current share price levels?

SRSP are in a closed period as their annual accounts are not out yet were as Ophir results came out in april so technically they are not in a closed period.

The 2 African-centric Companies, with which Sirius confirms it is in discussions, wouldn't be Ophir Energy and Kulczyk Ventures by any chance?
