12/1/2010 13:05 | Hi all long-term holders, Here is yesterdays view from Hoodless Brennan: Sinosoft (SFT, 7.87p, £13m) provided a robust trading update with profits in line with market expectations. Sales are expected to exceed forecasts but margins are impacted by completive trading conditions and slightly higher costs. Broker estimates call for £2.6m per tax, 1.2p EPS and a 0.33p DPS presenting a reasonable yield of over 4% of Friday's close. As always we remain wary of the investment income line, but so far this has remained resilient. We increase our price target to 9.6p which would suggest 8x this year's estimate. BUY. c2i | contrarian2investor
11/1/2010 08:10 | Message is - (Higher revenues) x (Lower margins) = (Profit expectation met) That is satisfactory enough for me, particularly at the current lowly valuation of the company. At least on rising revenue we have forward momentum which gives a ship some steerage. | boadicea
11/1/2010 07:18 | Positive trading update. Perhaps we'll recover some lost ground today. | zangdook
08/12/2009 18:54 | mudbath, just sounds like a statement of fact about how adjusted calcs are obtained to me. I don't think it's meant to read "hey, don't worry...the real loss per share is lower". Edit: ok, I see what you mean. "Dilutive" is not a well-defined expression. The options could be called anti-dilutive with respect to earnings (at the moment, because they're losses). They're still dilutive in the normal sense, though (with respect to other shareholders potential % stake). | stewjames
03/12/2009 17:01 | From the recent accounts:- "The Directors consider the ordinary shares relating to share options to be anti dilutive as their conversion to ordinary share would decrease the loss per share from contiuing operations." Am I missing something-or is this statement misguided? | mudbath
02/11/2009 16:56 | It is working now. Was not working over the last few days. I even tried the link that is on the BB header. Most have been taken off line for upgrade. Definitely looks more proffessional. | buggy
02/11/2009 14:47 | No problems here either. The site has been upgraded and is significantly better than it used to be. | olefin2
02/11/2009 12:53 | Works ok for me, but perhaps they've been working on it, it looks a bit different from last time I looked. It was pretty bad, perhaps someone gave them a nudge. | zangdook
02/11/2009 12:15 | Am I the only one having problems or has the company pulled the plug on their website. Have not been working for over a week, since I started trying anyway. I know it was never the best as all the links in the Customer page do not work but it was still better than nothing. | buggy
01/11/2009 22:14 | worth another look perhaps?. - tipped on uk-analyst.com | donegalman
22/10/2009 08:46 | Hi all, More signs that the jigsaw appears to be coming together, slowly but steadily its diverse applications are beginning to be appreciated. Further penetration in more arenas will lead to more contract wins and more recognition. Share share price appreciation will hopefully continue inspite of the general stockmarket/s. c2i longterm holder | contrarian2investor
22/10/2009 08:18 | New contract in a slightly different field. RFID tracking software seems to put them in competition with RCG Solutions business although obviously there is ample room for both in a fast expanding market. | boadicea
22/10/2009 08:15 | Brilliant news for Sinosoft. The potential applications for their new software, combined with 3M RFID, are huge ... ;-) | explorer88
20/10/2009 15:07 | looks like Batman in September... | zangdook

20/10/2009 13:38 | That`s me in this one now ,hopefully we will see a share price recovery in the near future. | cheeky13
01/10/2009 10:50 | Extracts: ....while Sinosoft Technology, a cash-rich software specialist, is seeking acquisitions. Those who reckon China's economy will surmount current problems and believe the better-run China-focused AIM companies will attract support over the longer term, despite the risks, should consider investing in Asian Citrus at 320p, China Medical at 239p, West China Cement at 379p, Sinosoft Technology at 9.25p and China Evoline as a sheer recovery gamble at 52.5p. | drewz

24/9/2009 13:48 | not exactly awe inspiring results, suppose we have to wait till the next results now. Apetley Agree with you this was supposed to be the big money spinner bit of a let down really still they do seem to be getting the odd contract or two, cant really get out just yet need a few more p to break even | fatfish
23/9/2009 22:00 | Topsliced on the way up but results look ok | hugepants
23/9/2009 16:33 | Taken from interims 'There has been no change in the status of the Group's SAT rollout since the Company last reported............ our strategy of diversifying away from the SAT project etc etc......' I'm out on this news. This was always meant to be the big money spinner and from my reading seems to have died a death. Good luck to those who still hold. | apetley
23/9/2009 15:53 | Contemplated selling these yesterday. Kind of wish I had now. Not because the results are that bad (they're OK) but because the wide spread leaves me feeling locked in at this price. | stewjames
23/9/2009 11:47 | yes but yet again underperforms on an operational basis.... why not just sell the company and get the cash back??????? Seems to be a permanent under performer this one...... until that changes why invest??? Also not sure their whole tax software thing is for real or a credible market...slap | slapdash |
