E-signatures are now considered a foundational technology for the enterprise, and therefore performance, robustness, scalability and the ability to integrate with multiple systems will be an ongoing focus for Savchenko--as will delivery of the e-signature platform. He will be responsible for guiding the overall delivery and deployment strategy for Silanis' e-signing technology, which today is the only solution that can be deployed on-premises, as a managed service in the cloud (be it private or public), or as a signing service. Savchenko takes over from former CTO Robert Al-Jaar, who recently moved into a new role at Silanis as Executive VP of Online e-Signature Services. About Silanis Silanis is the most widely used e-signature solution in the world, processing over 600 million documents annually. Since the company was founded in 1992, our solutions have strengthened the business processes of thousands of organizations, including three of the top North American banks, five of the top ten insurance companies and the entire US Army, among others. Companies and government organizations around the globe depend on Silanis to accelerate business transactions, improve customer experience and reduce costs while improving compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Silanis' on-premise, cloud and SaaS e-signature solutions eliminate manual, paper-based processing and enable e-commerce and e-government transactions to be electronically executed from start to finish. | andrbea

The Company (AIM: SNS) is pleased to announce that the US Army has renewed its annual electronic signature enterprise license support with Silanis Technology Inc. ("Silanis"). This represents Silanis' largest value annual maintenance contract. Seven years in use and the largest government e-signature implementation to date, the US Army continues its move towards a paperless operation. The Army Audit Agency validated the use of electronic signatures which is expected to save the US Army $1.3 billion every year once the Army Publishing Content Management System ("APCMS") is fully implemented. 29/12/2011 14:19 | the MCAP is currently 8.5mn pounds. It owns 25% of SIlanis, which had 6.5$mn cash as of 1H11. So the MCAP less our share of the cash is roughly 7mn£ or 11$mn. It made 1,5mn$ in 1H so even if we assume 2H is flat HoH then its on a P/E of 11x (3mn X.25). The other shares convert on a 1for1 basis so dont need to worry about that - just assume 25% of all the numbers you see. | the ghost who walks
