There was a very interesting article on BBC Midlands news at 1.30pm today.
Midlands police forces are pressing the government to provide knife-proof
vests for all of their officers.

Could this be good for STEC?

With widespread snow and plunging temperatures the Met Office are urging all able bodied people to keep a watchful eye on the old, the infirm, and the senile.

.....and to answer your question, I reckon the share price will drift back to around 7 or 8 pence, at which time it will be worth buying and waiting for the next news item which will probably announce that a bid is in the offing. aimho.

What we all have to bear in mind with Shieldtech is that they are a one trick pony. Their only operating company is Aegis Engineering and all their promises of investing in other security related companies has, so far, come to nothing.

Their operation at Warrington can only be described as Mickey Mouse (and yes I know that Mickey Maka Mucha Money) but they cetainly cannot be described as serious players at this point in time.

However, if we can believe what they tell us they have a strong order book and a list of potentially rewarding customers. So how are they going to exploit this?

In my view there are only two possible scenarios.
1: They can go to the market for more money.
Unlikely to be successful in the current climate and their past history of fund raising.

2: They can put themselves up for sale.
If, as they say, they have exciting order prospects in the pipeline they will need more money to gear up and take advantage.
