01/6/2004 10:38 | I've written to John Tiner of FSA (I couldn't think of any other authority with some vague role to play in a case like this)querying the de-listing from AIM on 10.12.03 and the dearth of info to stakeholders beyond that date. Anyway, if I get any noteworthy response I'll give it here. | scottrorke
31/5/2004 09:39 | Agree entirely Small Racer. I have (or had) #18,000 worth, at least I am lucky enough to have some very good profits elsewhere and I want to be able to offset this loss. If they don't issue a statement then it will take a number of years for the Taxman to declare them "of little or no value". All very annoying. | wywcu1
29/5/2004 16:06 | Well if we have lost the lot - how can we make sure they make a statement so I can write the lot off against CGT??? | small racer
26/5/2004 23:05 | Bell Pottinger no longer hold the Shaw account, the number for Tim Curle is dead,i hate to say it LOOKS LIKE WE HAVE LOST THE LOT HERE | wayneb
26/5/2004 12:28 | Tim Curle 020 7402 8114 Arthur Shaw & Company PLC Jonathon Brill 020 7861 3232 Bell Pottinger Financial | scottrorke
20/5/2004 08:54 | I phoned them again yesterday ,she went to find Bryan or Tim and about 3 minutes later came back and was told nobody in the office to speak to you,i asked if anything was happenig with SHAW,and all i got from the lady on the phone,no there is nothing happening sorry!!.That is all i could get out of her, sounds like this has been put in the bottom draw of Bryans filing cabinet and forgot about.Would the FSA look into these or can they just fade away without telling us shareholders anything. | wayneb
17/5/2004 19:08 | BluegWizz - I think you will find you get about the same result as anyone else asking "No statement can be made with out first issueing an RNS..........blah blah blah. But to be honest - if they are working on something - anything - it has to be better than doing jack all. It could be worth the wait - at least it gives us something to think about. | small racer
17/5/2004 13:38 | Hi Guys and Gals, i sent a nice long e-mail to my broker asking again what help they can provide in gaining info on SAW (as they have both size and influence on there side) i said. that was a week a go and yet to get a reply from my broker. as Maestro says there seem to be a complete waste of time and money that i pay them to operate the nominee a/c. any one have any other ideas on where to go from here | bluegwizz
14/5/2004 09:06 | vod00child...don't bother answering the phone to them anymore..complete waste a time like all the broker boys | maestro.
14/5/2004 09:03 | Looks like Bryan and the rest of his gang have run off with what money was left.i would say we have lost everything here. | wayneb
12/5/2004 22:21 | maestro, any calls from Halewood recently? Wink Wink! | v0d00child
02/5/2004 09:04 | Vodoochild - that was last year - for the year before !!!! | small racer

29/4/2004 18:57 | All I know chaps is that HQ SAW is still working (last time I phoned) - so a come back is possible - but I have 'written' these off in my mind so I am expecting nothing. Anything comes of this will be a bonus - even if I got breakeven !!! We will just have to wait - but you can phone your selfs 0202 7067304 give it a go - if they speak to you give em support. | small racer
27/4/2004 11:26 | Small Racer, what gossip have you heard?? | wywcu1
26/4/2004 18:42 | Try giving 0207 7067304 (HQ SAW) - and ask away - and post the answer here !!! Should be good to hear the 'We're all working hard ......' from somebody else. | small racer
26/4/2004 13:08 | Hi Vodo and small racer and all others, it has taken me months to find any info about SAW. IT IS GOOD TO FIND SOME OTHER SHAREHOLDERS trying to find info. i had the extra problem od my holdings are througha Nominee Broker and they have been useless in keeping informed of what was happening with Shaw's. i had written a letter to the Company Secretary requesting the state of play and if Bryan Morrison was still with the Company but to be expected i had no reply. i would be glad to hear from any one as to where we go from hear??? | bluegwizz
25/4/2004 08:12 | Will they shut up shop - or are they on the verge of doing something - loads of gossip down here - but no statement from SAW. CLOSE or reopening for business?? | small racer
23/4/2004 14:15 | I do wish that they would put us out of our misery and kill the thing off. That way at least we can use the losses against CGT. I am down 20 grand on this bloody share - stupid I know but at least if the Revenue deem it of little or no value I save 8 grand on other gains. I know there are a lot of other punters out there in exactly the same position as me. Enough is enough methinks. Wish I could say "good luck all" | wywcu1
22/4/2004 18:39 | Still not a peep from any phone calls - all just busy.......can I expel out yet I have held my breath for ages ........ abcdef .......... and ages.. | small racer
14/4/2004 19:03 | Cheers m8.. I'm pretty much loaded up.. but may add on a dip! | v0d00child
13/4/2004 22:52 | vod00child...Halewoo | maestro.
13/4/2004 21:32 | Maestro. ...can you tell me a bit more about Halewood buying? You know what I mean.. just VirTually Broadcasting it? | v0d00child
07/4/2004 18:43 | SAW did say a year or two back that lack of broadband uptake was hampering progress...things have changed alot since...only need to sign up a few good artists and we could be back in business delivering content on the internet | maestro.
07/4/2004 18:36 | Surely they are working around the clock for the good and benefit of all the stakeholders - shareholders included - this once glorious company will rise from the ashes like the mythical sparrow (blue crested - African type - with a certain air speed) - or even a common Pheonix. Ok maybe not - maybe it has crashed and burned and all is lost. Lets hold our breath for the statement........... | small racer |
