Seven Arts Pictures Update for Shareholders 15 March 2007 SEVEN ARTS PICTURES PLC ("Seven Arts" or the "Company") Update for Shareholders Seven Arts Pictures PLC, the international independent movie production and distribution business, has commenced the process to admit its shares to the Plus Markets Group exchange in London, in conjunction with a recognized Plus Markets Group sponsor. Trading in the Company's shares was suspended on February 16, pursuant to AIM Rule 34, following the resignation of its Nominated Advisor, Insinger de Beaufort. No clear or official reasons were stated for this resignation, which bares no relation to the ongoing prospects for Seven Arts, which remain very strong. The Company has since been in advanced discussions with a number of potential replacement Nominated Advisers but has been unable to conclude an appointment, in the short period (one month) provided by the AIM Rules, in light of the recent substantial increase in review responsibilities required of Nominated Advisors. The Company therefore considers that further efforts to maintain its AIM listing are not in the best interests of the Company or its shareholders and that a listing on the Plus Markets Group, which now provides a primary and secondary equity market to over 850 small-mid cap companies, is a more conducive environment to Seven Arts. The Company also intends to seek a secondary listing of its shares by filing, with the Securities and Exchange Commission in the United States as a private foreign issuer, for admission to the NASDAQ Bulletin Board. The Board expects to write to shareholders providing an update on progress towards admission to Plus Markets Group and NASDAQ Bulletin Board in due course as well as results for the financial year to 31 March 2007. -Ends-END

"The shareholders of the Company at the recent annual general meeting approved the option to allow Seven Arts Pictures Inc. to acquire these shares of Armadillo Investments from Seven Arts Pictures PLC subject to consultation with the Company's Nominated Advisor." Looks as though the consultation did not go too well....

"Paul Verhoeven is ramping up production on his long-gestating tsarist Russian crime romp The Winter Queen, now called Azazel. Shooting is set to begin this summer in St Petersberg and London after Peter Hoffman's Los Angeles-based Seven Arts Pictures finalised pay-or-play deals for Verhoeven and Milla Jovovich... A casting announcement is expected shortly on the male lead, a 19th century Moscow detective whose investigation into a suicide leads him to a mysterious woman (Jovovich) who may or may not hold the key to an international conspiracy. "I am thrilled to start my next movie with the charming portrayal of a diabolical and seductive woman who goes up against a handsome, gifted and very lucky young detective," Verhoeven said. "It takes place in Russia and London in the late 1800's, but its backdrop of world intrigue – with suicide, murder and terrorism – is very fitting for today's times."

"Failure to have a nominated adviser (Rule 34) If an AIM company ceases to have a nominated adviser, this must be announced without delay through a regulatory information service (Rule 17) and the Exchange will suspend trading in its AIM securities. If within one month the AIM company has failed to appoint a replacement nominated adviser, the admission of its AIM securities to trading will be cancelled." This is what happened at bartercard (BRTR) - one month later trading in shares cancelled!!

You're quite an amusing chappie Rover. But you've finally elicited a response from me....hows life at 30 Farringdon Street these days? Got out of NTRZ too early I guess, depserate for the cash? Which others can I help you ramp up for your exit? By the way everyone else: SVA is all tied up with the Langley Park (LPI) thread and its managers Stellington/Garrison etc. They've got a pile of poo stocks left in a run off investment trust, and SVA is right up there to be dispatched. Pearl by name, slippery by nature.

"The shareholders of the Company at the recent annual general meeting approved the option to allow Seven Arts Pictures Inc. to acquire these shares of Armadillo Investments from Seven Arts Pictures PLC subject to consultation with the Company's Nominated Advisor. The entire net proceeds of the sale of the 1,025,000 ordinary shares will be paid to Seven Arts Pictures PLC as a deposit on the sums that will be owed by Seven Arts Pictures Inc. to the Company, should the option be exercised." Its only an an OPTION to buy shares in Armadillo--which then have an option to convert into 3.2 million shaers at 50p or 6.4m shares at 25p depending on share price at date of comversion. I predict a drop in share price to 15-20p range,as number of shares in issue increases towards 37.184 million

Co wrote down value of Armadillo shares from £1.6m to £800,000 before selling them to Hoffman......Is this the same Hoffman who got into trouble with USA tax authorities?? "Oct 28, 1997 Federal prosecutors said Monday that they intend to retry former Carolco head Peter Hoffman on two criminal tax fraud counts that resulted in a hung jury earlier this month."

Armadillo is simply anther shareswapper funding vehicle like Langley Park. Same head office (gosh, 30 Farringdon street), same management. Minority shareholders being toyed with. I think it is actually a requirement that you present a certificate of insanity to your broker before executing a buy order in SVA.
