11/4/2018 10:20 | FB, mate I've got about 850k and the amount sold over 100% profit so no problems lol! Just wanted to crystallise the tax free element of gain and if I wanted to 're invest in sqz 30 days later I would still be in 'profit' unless it went up over 100 % in which case I'd be very happy with the balance of my investment anyways lol. Don't take non reply as rudeness, going to be in hospital all day visiting someone very dear to me! | dunderheed
11/4/2018 10:14 | Broken through its 3 month falling channel, next resistance should be circa 85p imo. | rathean
11/4/2018 10:13 | Probably, Dh, I tried to get Hargreaves Lansdown to bed and ISA mine last Friday. After they had done nothing about it for three days - and knowing that the price would shoot up on Tuesday - I cancelled the Bed & ISA. I'd rather not be out at the moment as you cannot just sell on the 5th and buy back on the 6th to qualify for CGT relief (or so I am told). You cannot buy back for 30 days... I've not explained that very well.... | fardels bear

10/4/2018 22:48 | Kevin Godbold / The Motley Fool Tue, 10th April 2018 - 15:40 North Sea-focused oil and gas production & exploration company Serica Energy (LSE:SQZ) delivered full-year results today following a “transformatio Big acquisition The big news in November was that the company announced the acquisition of BP’s interests in the Bruce, Keith and Rhum fields in a move set to diversify Serica’s revenue and reduce its dependence on the Erskine field. Benefits of the deal will be higher production volumes and reserves, and the ability of the firm to use its prior tax losses to offset profits. The directors say the deal is “structured to control risk and minimise shareholder dilution,” and they expect it to complete during the third quarter of 2018. The firm’s improved prospects drove the shares up during the year. In November, you could have picked up some of the stock at 27p, but today the shares change hands for around 67p. Yet they’ve been higher, touching 91p or so in January. Chief executive Mitch Flegg said that the firm is working hard towards the transition of the assets from BP as well as looking for new assets to add in the UK North Sea to grow the business, “where there are strategic benefits for Serica.” City analysts following the firm expect earnings to increase around 512% during 2018 and 27% the year after that, which throws up a tempting forward price-to-earnings ratio of just over two, although the future shareholder dilution resulting from the deal with BP makes the valuation a little muddy for the time being. Nevertheless, I think Serica is an interesting investment proposition that could sit well in a portfolio alongside oil major Royal Dutch Shell (LSE:RDSB). | master rsi

I meant to say bearing in mind all the mess going on in the world at the moment, I dont think he would be in a position to apply sanctions to Iran but of course who knows with him lol! What appeared to happen in Syria was absolutely appalling. | dunderheed
10/4/2018 17:28 | Dunderheed It looks like the USA is going to bomb the airforce bases in Syria now this will really pee off the Russians, what happens after this is any ones guess but oil will be much higher by the weekend, And if there is still trouble by the summer comes Rhum 3 is worth a Erskin to Serica thats about $31m at $60 boepd at $100 boepd it will be worth around $70m on its own now the herd as not arrived in any of the oil stocks it will arrive at some point, and SQZ will be alot higher than £1.20, you can join Pine and buy me dinner. | chestnuts
