Serco Group plc ('Serco' or 'the Group'), the international service company, notes third-party comments and enquiries regarding the bid process for the Barts Health NHS Trust Soft Facilities Management Services tender. Serco confirms that it has received notification that it has been appointed Preferred Bidder. The Trust's procurement has an estimated total value of up to GBP600m over a potential 10-year term. There is currently a mandatory standstill period following the appointment decision. Following expiry of the standstill period, Serco will work closely with the Trust to finalise the terms of the contract in readiness for signature.
