Perhaps SRB will over deliver with an AISC of $800/oz. Time will tell, one for the watch list.

sleveen - They forecast AISC 900-950 at the time of the 2015 figures 31/03/15, 900 at the interims 13/11/2015 and actually achieved 892. For 2016 they are forecasting 840-870. They definitely haven't disappointed on that score as far as i can see.

Yes i know tightfist its very stange....after what seemed a positive set of results and overall good scope for improvement. And the share price has gone full reserve already!! Gold steady today aswell. On a positive note i have taken the opportunity to top us as i see this as an improving company that is only going in the right direction!!Maybe its still under radar is all due to its current size and production levels.If gold rises as i expect it will when the market starts to rock then when will reap the rewards.I suppose patience is the vitue....lol

FWIW

2015 AISC were $892, the forecast 2106 AISC are circa $30 less than this.

Disappointing given the hype relating to wonderous Sao Chico IMHO.

Interesting question on a BB.... If you want another Gold Miner and have the stomach for a bit of controversy, IMHO, MML (Medusa Mining) traded on ASX is worthy of consideration; the fundamentals are screaming. Useful BB on here, but intrinsically biased to the LTBH up-side:

Yesterday good news has nearly neen washed away in the share price?? Thought we might get a good run for a few day....any think they are worth adding to at this current price? I got them originally at 3.5p. Can add at 4.25p today. Was thinking of selling off my shares in aureus mining and upping my stake here as it sounds much more stable and the positive news yesterday has me thinking......Any thoughts guys??

Hi Loverat,

Thanks for the cautionary message reminder. I havnt had chance to go through the results yet, but at first sight I thought they looked OK - maybe that 2017 production guidance looked rather conservative? I will be looking closely for what is said about the Sao Chico prospects/geology.

Also need to keep an eye on where the Real is going versus the USD. That's been a massive SRB tailwind for several years, but I guess it will come to an end sooner-or-later.

So we are in the same boat spooky...lol...it still seems fairly to me and the brokers are saying 8p so still plenty of upside. Im invested in Shanta too. You should check out berkeley energia Nothing to do with gold its uranium....but i feel its gping to be huge! Still pretty cheap now until the funding deal is announced!

Just a tip but if you see multiple user names might be best to report them to the FCA. I saw six on this thread but that was not enough - apparently several more have been registered since my complaint so now we are looking at a possible pump and dump operation by one private shareholder only. No cause for alarm and no reflection on posters here and this stock - just the individual trying to con others who will be caught soon, if not already.

I think this knocks divi's on the head for a while ... So the short termers are exiting.

Whilst we remain focussed on optimising the current operations, should the
improvement in gold prices continue and therefore provide additional
cash flow, we will be looking later in the year to evaluate some of our
mine site discoveries that lie within the existing tenements. The
potential for resource growth at Palito and Sao Chico is excellent with
the advantage that this resource growth can quickly be translated into
low cost production growth.
