That was the most concerted attempt yet to bypass support at 16p.
Having failed again, should see a bounce up to test resistance at 17.25p.
That'll likely hold too and will look for a 16.50p close on Tuesday.
When the shorts eventually give up, 18.50p is the next target and a clear gap to 21 after that.

In before the crash. In at 10.50p to win back the loss.
Thought it'd be a short-term trade to 30p but higher powers have other ideas.
Bed & ISA now and wait for November to see us fly.

Sepura’s shares are up after the company announced a major new contract win. Sepura has been selected by a large continental European public safety organisation to provide 19,000 SC20 series hand-portable radios. The contract builds on Sepura’s strength in the public safety market and shows that its current strategy is improving the company’s overall performance.

Sepura’s outlook is rather mixed. Although its profitability is due to fall significantly in the current year, next year is expected to represent a major step forward for the business. Sepura is forecast to increase its pre-tax profit from £0.4m in the current year to £11.6m in the next financial year. This step change in profitability has the potential to boost investor sentiment in Sepura and could cause its share price to rise.

Furthermore, Sepura offers excellent value for money. It trades on a forward price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of just 6.1. This shows that even if its bottom line performance is lower than that currently anticipated by the market, Sepura has a sufficiently wide margin of safety to merit investment for the long term.

In terms of dividends, Sepura isn’t expected to make any shareholder payouts in either the current year or next year. However, for growth investors Sepura has real appeal and alongside Swallowfield, the gains made thus far today could continue over the coming months and years.

sh1984..I think most info will be revealed in the half year report. I have spoken to Peter Connor (Sepura investment relations)..and things really aren't that bad, they are making money, they have recognised at that time there may be a possibility of breach and proactively looking at resolving this now. I am sure such contracts wins can only help the situation! I really think we will get a more pleasant surprise in the half year report advising corrective actions and recovery play.. that's if we don't get some kind of RNS about take over before...GL

Does anyone know how this latest contract win relates percentage wise to the EBITDA covenant? I suspect its a very big percentage - When it comes to negotiate with the banks in March next year, they can put these contract wins forward together with the recent funds raised from share placing and cover the shortfall?

The market is convinced as the share price opened up around 18.5p, but it has since been worked down by shorters looking for a favourable exit point, it will be up again when they exit over the next few weeks... long term hold for me.

sh1984, if that's the case, I am even more happier.. but why is the market not so convinced? seems that we are still way undervalued... Surely we should be back to at least placing price of 35p...

Recovery, I think you have underestimated the price of the units, The SC2020 is top of the range and retails well over the STP9000, I think its more like £1K per unit and this one contract alone is worth around a third of the company's current market cap...........

No, just search #sepu on Twitter... also, have a look at their annual accounts and you can calculate a rough price per hand set.. but not sure about the high end model. I would say $1000 per all in is a fair estimate Inc service and support...
