22/2/2017 20:28 | I don't think this is a new contract unfortunately. It seems a bit odd announcing it today with the quote "This prestigious win..." which makes it sound like something new. This from 1st June 2016 "Last month Abiom and Sepura completed Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) at the TATA Steel site in The Netherlands. The deployment comprises a Sepura infrastructure of 5 base stations and 900 radios, featuring specific solutions for cranes and locomotives." | 1gw
22/2/2017 11:47 | Shroder, do your own homework! I am referring to post 3225 (articles about Sigmar Gabriel, the German Economics Minister and Chinese takeovers) from memory it's mainly about Germany protecting it's own companies. I an event, it's healthy to have a diverse opinions on this thread. In the cold light of day everyone has to make up their own mind. All I am saying is that based on a simple delay in clearance decisions(well justified with Christmas festivities in between) Mr Market has overreacted in bringing the share price down to pre-takeover levels. At this junction the deal still has in excess of a 50% chance of succeeding. This is my own logical conclusion but as I repeat, everyone is entitled to their own. | scorpione
22/2/2017 11:44 | The perception that there is an arb seller of several million has not helped the sentiment here. It is assumed that because they are an arb fund that they have done better research or know something that the rest of us do not. In my experience of them over 15+ years they are prone to panic and self-doubt. In the past I have traded arb situations between arbs! | exbroker
22/2/2017 11:16 | Both links are to German web sites dealing with M & A matters, there is no article. In your earlier post below you state: "People with balls buying now could make a very healthy return here on a simple misjudgement." What is the basis for your opinion, what research have you conducted to arrive at this conclusion? ____________________ Scorpione22 Feb '17 - 10:25 - 3218 of 3224 0 0 I agree and as mentioned above, Mr Market's massive over exaggeration is complete madness; get a grip! People with balls buying now could make a very healthy return here on a simple misjudgement. | shroder
22/2/2017 11:06 | Look at the article he pointed out | scorpione
22/2/2017 11:02 | Can you elaborate further? "let's not forget that Sepura is British not German and that makes a big difference." | shroder
22/2/2017 10:51 | I have been following this thread for a while; everyone is entitled to an opinion but let's not forget that Sepura is British not German and that makes a big difference. | scorpione
22/2/2017 10:42 | Have you contacted the web sites in post tabhair14 Feb '17 - 15:16 - 3192 to evaluate the risk? | shroder
22/2/2017 10:36 | Shroder, who knows, they and others may be watching events closely before pouncing. | scorpione
22/2/2017 10:31 | There's bound to be some German arb funds evaluating risk/reward here, their absence speaks volumes. | shroder
22/2/2017 10:25 | I agree and as mentioned above, Mr Market's massive over exaggeration is complete madness; get a grip! People with balls buying now could make a very healthy return here on a simple misjudgement. | scorpione
22/2/2017 10:09 | As I said earlier; As the dominant supplier to the German emergency services it would not be in Germany's best interests to see Sepura fail. Yes, I'm sure the German Government will wish to seek security assurances. However, HYTERA already sells TETRA radios to other EEC public bodies. With Motorola and others in the market there can't be a serious competition issue. | l0ngshanks
22/2/2017 09:17 | Huge overreaction here! Competition authorities yet to clear it; Is this any surprise? Logically not at all, offer was announced mid December shortly before Christmas so two weeks have to be taken out of the timetable and price has gone back to pre offer level! | scorpione
21/2/2017 16:27 | The private investors will start to buy when the price starts to go up, its they way they work! | exbroker
21/2/2017 16:22 | More to print at 14.02 same buyer same seller. | exbroker
21/2/2017 15:42 | 1gw That depends on why they are selling, either they think it will fail the German phase 2 or they can’t be bothered to wait to find out. All I know is the correct price is either 20p or about 9p not 14! | exbroker
21/2/2017 14:55 | And it looks like that is the 8.3. Not encouraging. | 1gw
21/2/2017 13:20 | Agree re the seller. I think the buyer is below the level, private individual who plays arb situations. | exbroker
21/2/2017 12:52 | Fair enough. So if the seller was one of the declared arbs we should see an 8.3 later today, which won't help sentiment. Do you know if the buyer is above the 1% threshold? | 1gw
21/2/2017 12:38 | Guys it was a buy I know who bought them! | exbroker
21/2/2017 11:02 | Agree with technowiz here. The two 15.52p 500k trades at 09:32 "today" on the advfn listing appear to be in fact a deletion and resubmission of the 500k trade at 14:53 yesterday. Yesterday's trade happened when the spread had been constant at 15.50 - 15.75 for a while so looks to me most likely to have been a sell. | 1gw
20/2/2017 20:06 | The buyer paid 15.5 plus a turn to the broker, the hedgie has to report his half of the trade and can do this on a number of exchanges that dont mark on the ADVFN volume and trades data. | exbroker
20/2/2017 19:38 | So is this it then ? Game over may as well be at 15p | investment dave |
