30/11/2016 11:24 | Thanks greg Now that does sound like it's going ahead.Where's ohdearohdear 22I think we are fairly close with the 34p | apfindley
30/11/2016 11:11 | thanks Greg, and GLA | mad foetus
30/11/2016 11:07 | possibly Greg, though the Jersey Companies Registry hasn't reserved name or established company yet: hxxps://www.jerseyfs | mad foetus
30/11/2016 11:03 | Hytera setting up 'Shortway Jersey Ltd' and coming out of suspension | gregsc
30/11/2016 09:54 | SEPU is only worth £200m to the Chinese (£75m debt + £125m equity) if they can quickly get rid of the echelons of useless overpaid British management. They will just want the contracts, technology IP and a few key technical people. What is presumably going on are negotiations with those highly and overpaid employees they won't want regarding waiving of over-generous redundancy/pension arrangements etc. If they don't agree, then obviously they stand to get nothing when SEPU files for liquidation, which the Chinese also don't want to happen because there will then be a fire sale of the assets. Hopefully, there aren't too many Spanish employees from the recent acquisition, because they will be thoroughly protected by Spanish employment law. One or two of the key shareholders raising some money to allow the debt pile to be reduced might also be on the agenda? So, obviously it would seem that the Brits involved want back their 35p placing price money that they have not yet had chance to offload onto the public. | bakunin
30/11/2016 09:01 | Persomally for whatever reason I feel that Henderson is putting a dampener on any rise in the share price in the immediacy? Time will tell. Lets just be patient I am sure sepura will not give this company away. They are building up some nice contracts so even if the t/o fails just sit back and wait This investment game is about taking money from the impatient and giving it to the patient and I am speaking from experience | billthebank
30/11/2016 08:10 | This will reach 30p on Thursday! ohdearohdearohdear29 Nov '16 - 16:33 - 2861 of 2867 1 0 Does fission453 know the word "irony"? Do you wish to elaborate bud! Good start and my prediction of 30p looking very good! | fission453
30/11/2016 08:05 | Looks like there is some serious arm wresting going on. Remember, the Chinese are global masters at negotiation! I am surprised that a large company like Hytera remains in suspension for such a relatively small deal as Sepura. I wonder if they are trying to agree something more complicated ?menage a trois? and that Sepura has to wait on things which are outside their control? Anyway .. the RNS cannot be bad news ll | loss-leader
30/11/2016 07:58 | > The big question now is , what will Henderson do? Good point. Any idea how much they are down? Can't imagine they want to haemorrhage too much. | knobbly
30/11/2016 07:54 | MEA Culpa Humble pie being prepared ;-) The wording of the extension would appear to be positive, whatever else Hytera must be very very interested, they have to suspend their shares for another week The big question now is , what will Henderson do? S | sweenoid
30/11/2016 07:14 | It's on! One week extension talks progressing well, due diligence underway, intermediaries appointed and more funds being raised for cash offer... | blueblood
29/11/2016 16:33 | Does fission453 know the word "irony"? | ohdearohdearohdear
29/11/2016 16:23 | 113mike.....I see nothing of substance in your post! This will reach 30p on Thursday! | fission453
29/11/2016 15:49 | We are all entitled to an opinion ododod thats what makes the world go round but Hendersons selling is not helping the share price Their holding is now below 44M so not a good situation. Not long to wait now altho personally I can see the short term risk if the t/o doesnt happen but still confident that everything will work out well here in the fullness | billthebank
29/11/2016 15:40 | Looks like they're gradually walking this down to 10p anyways | 113mike
29/11/2016 15:06 | Ooops. As I have been saying for a few weeks. 22p is the offer. <10p is the share price if the bid falls through. IMHO of course ;-) | ohdearohdearohdear
29/11/2016 14:58 | Anything under 30 will be shocking negotiations as the business is worth a lot more.Anything above 40 will surprise me.So I think many are in agreement it should be in or around that range.Looking back I bet sepura wished they had just raised capital for the full purchase of teltronic, and then wouldn't of been in this mess and still wouldve had a much higher shareprice. | apfindley
29/11/2016 14:45 | Isn't it noramlly the acquiree as opposed to acquirer that requests suspension? Henderson are a long term holder who will know the business well, daily selling down is not a convincing signal imo. | shroder
29/11/2016 11:07 | Motorola That is so unlikely Hytera clearly are very interested in a cash offer and as some have said will have done a degree of dd already. Too late IMO for Motorola to get involved. If they were interested an announcement would have been made already dont you think? I am hoping for a 35p/share cash bid Anything more will be a bonus. Hytera in supension now for nearly a month so this is a serious take over guys and will happen just not sure when. I cam wait though. GLAHs | billthebank
29/11/2016 10:35 | Exactly greg. That's why we want hytera to get things moving | apfindley
29/11/2016 10:35 | Sadly, I see little prospect of Moto entering the fray. There are better American and Asian potential candidates. Whatever, time is becoming of the essence. Sepura's biggest assets have feet! | l0ngshanks
29/11/2016 10:32 | If Motorola (or anyone else) does intervene, I would think they would wait until Hytera have made their offer (or not). It's impossible to know who may step in. | gregsc
29/11/2016 10:26 | Whether it goes ahead or not, I still see it being worth more whatever the outcome. But it's very encouraging that not only have we (supposedly still) been in talks for a prolonged period now, but also that hytera have not dismissed it, and have made their intentions more credible by seeking to remain suspended, and citing sepura t/o as the reason.Be nice to hear something as it's getting boring now. Was hoping to see hytera and and Motorola go 12 rounds. | apfindley |
