Hi cyan,

Yes quite incredible if emails were "doctored", and very surprised action has not been taken on that if that is the case.

I'm also surprised no action was taken about his omissions when becoming a director of SER, and the subsequent tweets encouraging punters to buy just before he and CO dumped their holdings.

I will watch Tom's video, thanks for posting the link.

Don't know about him but I think its very different and not at all about journalism at least to begin with. Turney was offering (at a time when the public didn't know Levi's background) to investigate what Levi was hiding by failing to give his previous name. Failing to give his previous name was one thing but failing to declare unspent convictions for indicted offences (previous for armed robbery) quite another. Turney's fees would have been a small % of the money that could be recovered from Levi and anyone found to have conspired. But for some reasons the Sefton powers that be as advised by Mildwaters chose not to take him up on it. And the rsst, as they say, is history.

In case you missed them; here are my thoughts , again, on "Teflon Dan" the 'fit-up' man

I really was disgusted by BMD's "extortion" prose and the comments that followed.

You are a profoundly dishonest hypocrite BMD.

After carefully reading all your remarks and the IPSO report which did not uphold ANY of your complaints I have to say that I agree with the newspapers line; “ludicrous to categorise this as an attempt at extortion or blackmail”

What say you to this line in section 17 BMD

"It also noted that the emails that the complainant claimed had been exchanged between the reporters in January 2016 had been doctored: they appeared to have been sent from the freelancer’s email address, but they had not."

Was someone trying a fit-up?

How come you were in possession of those "suspect" e-mails Dan?

Definition 'fit-up'; an instance of incriminating someone by falsifying evidence against them.

Here is the IPSO report which threw out every complaint.

Tell us Dan why did you submit doctored e-mails to IPSO? Looks like a crude attempt at a fit-up. You are a disgrace.

Actually Dan,

People soliciting money for favourable articles and press "mentions" is commonplace in the city, as I'm sure you know.

So why do you think this is any different?

andy

I think it's safe to assume that most if not all of those comments were put there by the same (homophobic) person and the same person who wrote the article at that.

You might find this quote from Mildwaters' publicity blurb mildly amusing if you know what happened to Afren and its CEO:

The key points of difference we offer our clients are our
flexibility, and the breadth of knowledge, experience
and services we can bring to bear on an issue. Flexibility” refers to our willingness to challenge the status quo and think outside the box. Working rigidly within the framework of the law does not require
creativity or business flair. It simply requires a good
memory. A strategy based on law alone will often
fail to produce the required result in a complex
commercial situation, unless no serious challenge
existed in the first place.

“We need advisers who think on their feet, and see and
understand the big picture before we take the next step.”

Dr Osman Shahenshah
Chief Executive Officer and Director
Afren PLC

Another example of pursuing other individuals - the subject of the article posts on this site. The general consensus however better journalism.

All rather sinister imo. BMD states the guy lives in the Lake district but he won't publish any of his personal details.

The message is clear; I know all about you; what you look like and where you live!

Considering the inflammatory tone of his prose and the hate filled response of Teflon Dan's supporters I would be very unhappy if I was the victim of his 'journalism'

And before Teflon Dan again spams his views with ADVFN's support; would he like to address my questions about the doctored e-mails he submitted to IPSO?

Good call. I hadn't spotted the implications of that line. It does look as though someone fabricated the "evidence". Either BLD himself or an Associate perhaps. Just as well that this wasn't a court of law and there was no money at stake, just the small risk that the Times would have to retract and/or apologise.

On the subject of hypocrisy, do you think that the owners of the copyright
on the three photos have been asked for their permission to use those photos? I particular like the idea that the one of the head in hands journalist with the caption "Copyright Thief" was actually published by an even bigger "Copyright Thief",

Hi Cyan,

Without doubt it is (see his linkedin if you can)
at w w w.linkedin.com/in/rob-shepherd-6581417

Fingerprints on guns and magazines was once a subject close to BLD's heart, but I'm prepared to put that down to pure coincidence.

No doubt about Mildwaters either. The same Mildwaters who arrived in Sefton at the same time as BLD (who appointed who I wonder?)Shepherd and Raylene. No wonder they didn't take up Turney's offer to investigate BLD - they probably already knew exactly who he was!

Good afternoon GheeBee.
God heavens what a story.

Rob Shepherd – Chairman of Heimdall

Currently Interim CEO at Rialto Energy Limited, former mechanical engineer for Royal Dutch Shell before spending 11 years with ABN Amro and serving as a Non-Executive Director at Imperial Energy. Finance Director at Dominion Petroleum before its acquisition by Ophir Energy in 2012.

Let me get this right; Rialto Energy (RIA) decided it needed a fresh start with a new name (not the first time that's happened).

It morphs into Azonto Petroleum (AZO).
Things do not seem to have worked out and its liquidating its West African oil businesses and selling the equipment.

It has now naturally progressed into a company wanting to develop fingerprint identification on guns and magazines!!?? You couldn't make this up.
looks like it has now $6.92 AUD which is £3.533 million Sterling

Is this the same Rob Shepherd?

The entertainment that BMD and CO provide is enormous;

Chris Oil ‏@chrisoil 16m16 minutes ago

Justin who asks guests to bend over on air @sharepickers @voxmarkets and gives the worst tips records in history

Really? He would have to be really bad to beat Chrisoils dismal 9.52% hit rate

Hey this investigative stuff is eazy peazy. Try putting Mildwaters (the solicitors) and Rob Shepherd into google and you should get Heimdall Energy Solutions.

Well blow me down, the solicitors and Shepherd were a (closely) related party.

Putting aside the evident anger at being outed by a man that IPSO describes several times as a Freelance Journalist, BLD gives a tantalising pointer that might easily be missed.

"Fortunately the real power who was running Sefton Resources, and their solicitors, saw through the attempts and killed it off for a myriad of legal reasons".

Real power? Not Raylene, not the Board, not the Nomad and not Laurence Reid. The EGM team wanted them out. Who then? Now that would be good for a bit of real investigative journalism.

The Teflon Dan; lol

"Let The Times & Leroux know that regardless of whoever seeks to demonise me, it will never have any effect on my career, business OR shareholder activism. I am teflon."

Who was that guy they used to call the "Teflon Don"? What happened to him...ummm

Well, if that's true looks like pretty much everyone was out to rip off Sefton Shareholders - not just the management. Just shows you where any of this assortment of freaks and criminals get involved (TW, CO, BMD, BT, California Joe) potential shareholders should stay well clear.

Interesting read.
BMD did not like the press using deception so he went crying off to the IPSO . Oh dear, oh dear.
