SDL Enterprise Translation Server Now Available on AWS Marketplace

Enterprise Machine Translation Environment for High-Volume Translations

SDL, a leader in global content creation, management, translation and delivery, today announced the availability of SDL Enterprise Translation Server (SDL ETS) on AWS Marketplace. This allows AWS Marketplace customers to easily incorporate machine translation for projects to solve the challenge of translating large volumes of content in short periods of time.

By leveraging SDL ETS, time-sensitive projects such as market research analysis, eDiscovery, large volumes of customer feedback and data can be quickly translated at scale in a secure manner from within an easy-to-use portal or by integrating into existing applications.

SDL is releasing six different Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) to provide AWS Marketplace customers with a variety of language pairs. The AMI options include individual language pairs, namely English to Spanish, Spanish to English, English to French, French to English, English to German, and German to English.

With the availability of SDL ETS on AWS Marketplace, users can:

• Access machine translation for projects where it’s too time consuming for humans to translate large volumes of content
• Choose from a variety of AMIs to optimize their translation needs and Amazon Web Services (AWS) footprint
• Manage their data in an even more secure manner to protect sensitive data from being exposed
• Integrate their AMI image into other process or workflows using APIs
