17/10/2007 16:38 | I haven't posted on here before - new to advfn. However, i know a bit about this company as I work in the ad industry. They've struggled for a long time to even sell at rate card in the malls they already have installed. There are so many issues and it has been reflected in their struggle to generate revenue let alone profit. Compared to other media owners they are definitely not a hot tip. Added to it the fact that (apparently) they are looking to replace their entire sales team by outsourcing to other media owners seems to be a last hope to make a positive change. Time after time they've had to release new shares. I was tempted to buy as an ipo but I'm glad I didn't! I'd say stay clear... at least until they've proven themselves at some level. | jono88
17/10/2007 16:24 | 2,453,596,067 shares in issue, makes market cap £4.3m. That's quite a lot. | encarter
17/10/2007 16:09 | LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Screen FX PLC, the digital advertising company said the convertible loan agreed in principle and signed with Trafalgar Capital Specialised Investment Fund has been increased, and is now expected to be received by Oct 26. ..........got to be good news? | paul augustus
16/10/2007 08:55 | What happened to the consolidation? | paul augustus
16/10/2007 07:04 | All the above looks good for Screen fx. As long as we get the funding for the future all should look a lot better in 12 months time. | cgod
15/10/2007 13:36 | No, Im watching it though.... | eggbird
15/10/2007 11:26 | good choice do you hold sfx? | cyclingnut

12/10/2007 13:51 | ljsquash I'm in the same position regarding holding (4m) and outlook for the co. good post | dvsfm
12/10/2007 13:47 | 50 posts of rubbish - Gents I have held since 0.43p and hold a fair few million now I firmly believe having spoken to management several times that the influx of capital will turn the company around. The £2 million sell and subsequent remodelling are considered more profit realising than the sale of the Mall business complete. I am happy to hold for some time and have voted for the EGM proposals. Gravy I will admit finacially there is little weight evident but I hold that it is a growing industry and will continue upwards exponentially! | ljsquash
12/10/2007 13:30 | I love this bulletin board ! Non stop stream of posters who ignore the obvious and carry on ramping ! | gravy_1
12/10/2007 13:29 | Bearing in mind the stock was placed at 0.5p per RNS below, and funding secured, i reckon we should be around this level, imo, dyor: Screen FX raises 1 mln stg via placing of 200 mln shares LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Screen FX PLC said it has raised 1 mln stg through a placing of 200 mln new shares at 0.5 pence each. The digital advertising firm expects the shares to be listed on AIM on June 7. | pre
12/10/2007 13:27 | Looking at H1 even if that was true they still seem a long way off profits. | gravy_1
12/10/2007 13:24 | How about the debt was racked up due to the building of the infrastructure. With this now virtually being complete it should have the effect of the company not requiring further funding and starting to make a profit as they have already stated. This can then be used to pay down the debt. | knowing
12/10/2007 13:19 | Still not one post with sound fundamental reasons to why this share should be valued at it's current price. That's about 5 hours now to think of one :-)) | gravy_1
12/10/2007 13:17 | IF YOU IGNORE GRAVY LONG ENUFF, IT HARDENS, DRIES UP AND gets eaten by the birds.......... | cyclingnut
12/10/2007 13:16 | I personally think this is just the beginning. I particularly like the following sentences!! "The funds now sought by Screen FX will also be used to implement changes to the business model, which the company expects will bring it to operating profits by the end of 2008." "Screen FX said it has already secured indications of support from existing institutional shareholders for 1.25 mln stg towards the total needed." Anyway, we musnt post positive facts taken from the regulatory news service or we might be accused of ramping! LOL!! | cyclingnut
12/10/2007 13:15 | pre. So this company should be valued at 12 million ! lol It's just a rampers paradise, pluck figures out of the air ! | gravy_1 |
